Destruction of my sister's home by Largo sewage department by Eva Bryce
On 8/12 Largo sewage department blew raw sewage into my sister and brother in law's, Laura and Trevor Ball's, beautifully remodeled and furnished, immaculate home at 12871 139th St. in Largo as well as their next door neighbor's home. There was 3" of raw sewage covering every inch of there home when they returned from work. The city had a hazmat company clean up the immediate mess and the Ball's home has since been gutted! Oak hard wood floors removed, kitchen and bathrooms demolished, doors and baseboards thrown away, and drywall cut up! Many of their treasured possessions and momento's from Laura's deceased daughter were ruined and what is left sits in the bacteria ridden home, allegedly cleaned (such as mattresses and curtains that laid in feces!) The Balls have been displaced to a motel and their beloved pet chickens had to be permanently rehomed! Bacteria levels still remain too high for human habitation yet the city risk mgt dept has informed them yesterday that they will not pay to have their remaining possessionsmoved to a safe storage unit and rent them a home to live in while the home is sterilized and rebuilt! Laura Ball has a severely compromised immune system as she is a breast cancer survivor and suffers from rheumatoid disease, but Largo city council has told them that they will "mop the terrazzo floors" and build a "makeshift kitchen" so they can move back into the home right away! What is wrong with these people!!! They can ruin the lives of long term Largo residents and then put their physical, mental and emotional health at risk without batting an eye! story! I also have photographs! Thank you! Eva Bryce Sent...
Read moreThis city is despicable. Talk to Rosalyn and stormwater about the fact that all of our storm drains are filled with debris and crap from the road construction over here off of dryer. Talk to her a couple days before the storm she said she was too busy and she wouldn't pass the information along to the right people. So basically our city is a past the buck kind of place. They let their City drowned and now they won't pick up trash this...

Building rules are so unreasonable, they require building permits for everything except painting. You cannot park or put anything on your property without getting a fine except your licensed cars.
This city has no freedom!!! Stay out. Pinellas County itself...
