
I entered this morning around 7:30 a.m. and I forgot my scanning card in my other vehicle. I do not have the app on my phone due to the fact that I do not want alerts or notes or messages and my phone is for business and it doesn't have room to store any more apps that take up storage. In saying that I tried checking in with the option that everyone else has if they don't have their phone or their card which is with my number and they supervisor Xavier here in Las Cruces said I cannot do that basically telling me I can't work out unless I have a card or I download the app to my business phone I responded with. I do not want the app on my phone because it takes up storage and it gives me alerts which I don't have storage to spare at this point. He asked me why I answered him again about my phone and he answered again like a child. Why? I felt like I was talking to my 2-year-old grandson of when you Get asked the question and you answer their answer back is always why I told him. Are you a child and can I speak to management? That's when he told me he was the only manager and I said who's above you and he said nobody is above him and I cannot work out and I must download it to my phone. No other option. I told him he's rude. He told me I cannot work out. I went past him and I am a pain customer regard. If he's the manager there they need to find new replacements because his customer service and trying to help customers that pay is terrible. I've been going there for 3 and 1/2 plus years and have never encountered such ignorance for customer service and such rudeness. I employ myself over 100 employees and was going to give him a suggestion of how customer service works especially when they offer the option of giving my phone number to check me in. I told him my phone number and I walked away from him. Whether he checked me in or not and did not want to do, his job is not my problem. I hope planet fitness looks deeply into this. Read moreIf I could give them zero stars I would! I signed up for a membership in November 2015. The membership ended November 2016 and I cancelled as well just to cover all the bases. Originally I used my personal debit card. Planet fitness continued to charge me an additional $108.25 from November 2016-April 2017. I continued to call and complain to no avail. Finally I went to my bank, placed a stop pmt and blocked Planet Fitness from charging. Somehow, they got my business account bank information and started charging that account. Again, I placed a stop pmt and blocked Planet Fitness again, after calling them repeatedly. That cost me $60.00 in bank charges. Then I closed my personal and business bank account and took my business to another bank, just to cover all the bases. I felt really bad as this was not the banks' fault, but I didn't know what else to do. Then, somehow, Planet Fitness charged my Amex business card under another name "ABC Financial". WOW! I do not know how they get all this information. Now I have to dispute that charge and close another account. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH PLANET FITNESS. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR FINANCIAL INFO. Read moreUsed to be great. I go in the am around 630. Staff just sits behind the desk on their phone. By the time I leave there is usually 2 or 3 all just sitting there. I don’t even think they make sure everyone coming in is a member. Meanwhile the gym is dirty with trash on the floor, cleaning stations out of supplies and bathrooms dirty. No one cares to make their place of work look better, just sit behind the desk to cater their own needs and collect a paycheck. I’m going to start looking for a new gym that cares about their facility.
UPDATE. After response from PF…. I am not sure how much more clearer I can be with what’s wrong with this place. This am, at least 3 paper towel machines were out and didn’t even have a roll sitting out. Talking to a manager is is going to help, they are part of the problem. There has been trash that is blatantly obvious sitting on the floor that has remained for several days. Meaning whoever the manager was on there days either failed to walk the floor or didn’t have the intestinal fortitude to ensure an employee cleaned it up. I have seen people cleaning more often.
