Lidl — Local services in Lawrence Township

Visited the store yesterday around 5:30pm and was greatly disappointed. Repeating what another reviewer commented, the store is completely different than it was when it first opened. Seems like management gave up on keeping his employees and keeping up with the cleanliness of the store AND the parking lot. All of the shopping carts were scattered throughout the parking lot. There was even an empty (seated) electric cart in the middle of one of the parking spots. The store is in complete disarray. Boxes full of products blocking the aisles, a tent (yes, a tent!) opened and blocking another aisle. Bakery COMPLETELY out of "fresh" bread, bakery bags scattered all over the front of the bins. Various items scattered randomly among other items where they didn't belong. The mums displayed entering and leaving the store are completely dried out! It's so obvious they haven't gotten any sunlight or haven't been watered in weeks. Lastly, the ONE check out line with one cashier handling a line of 11 customers looked completely swamped! I truly felt bad for him! Not to mention, during my visit of 45 minutes, I only saw ONE employee - the cashier! Again, MUCH different than three months ago. Review update this is not the first time this has happened to me in the store so I figured it's time to put it in writing. Standing in line with another line open they open up the cash register between us the two people behind me quickly jump onto the new line and are out the door when they close that additional line and I'm still online. To the managers of this store when you open up a line it is your job to direct the people already waiting online to the front of the new line.

I shop this store regularly, didn't get five stars because as much as I like the store many items are hit or miss as to whether they're going to have them in stock. Some of the items I purchased from them are a dollar cheaper than at ShopRite but they don't always have the product. They have some unique products that are their own but many of them are only available once until they sell out perhaps this seasonal. They sell produce such as butter lettuce which I can only find at whole foods obviously it's a little cheaper here and they do have that consistently. I was here opening day and because there were so many people I only spent about $100 and decided to come back later. Today I came here with the antenna on spending a few hundred dollars because we have nothing in the house. Since their grand opening their prices have gone up significantly whereas they are equitable to ShopRite. The place is getting dirty there were no paper or plastic bags at all. Thank God while I was shopping I got so disgusted with the prices that I decided to simply buy what I had in my cart and leave otherwise I would have been going home with a whole bunch of stuff and nothing to put them in. I didn't want to leave everything in the car for the already miserable looking employees. This place is going to go downhill and fast trust me. Nothing that has been in this complex has really survived much and this place is not making any effort to do so. If you feel like spending ShopRite prices in a Save-A-Lot environment go for it. They make you think you're saving money by giving you deals on their app but trust me they still...
