VERY RUDE STAFF ALERT!!! I had been going to Envy Nails since August of last year and each time the manager Johnny had always done a great job on my hands. He was always super nice and willing to work with any design I asked and even put pictures of his work on their instagram page. I showed up to get my nails done this past Sunday (yes, 2 days ago) and was unfortunate enough to get another nail tech who seemed a bit upset that she had to be at work that day. She did a "not so great" job on my nails, but I didn't complain, and kept about my day. The very next day (yesterday), I noticed that one of my nails was already lifting. It wasn't due to any thing I had done because it was a holiday and I hadn't done anything that day outside of relax. When I came back to Nail Envy today, I let the other nail tech that had greeted me at the door that I had gotten my nails done there just Sunday and it was already lifting so I needed just that one nail repaired. She asked me to identify the color and sit in chair number 1. After siting there for about 2 minutes, the tech that had originally done a TERRIBLE job on my nails came up to me and rudely said "It's gonna be at least an hour" and then immediately walked away. When I asked her why it would be so long to fix just 1 nail (no designs or anything) she said "I have people here waiting that were here before you". Now don't get me wrong, I completely understand that there were people that had been there before me, however, her tone and dismissiveness as to whether or not I cared was absolutely unacceptable. She was so rude that even the person that was sitting waiting, volunteered to allow me to go before them but the technician wasn't having it. I was so turned off, I declined and left. It's completely upsetting because the only reason I was there was because she failed to do my nails properly the first time. I've gone to Envy time after time despite what other's had told me about their work because Johnny was always so nice but now, I refuse to go back. I'll be another...
Read moreSo the first few times I went here the service was amazing the nail techs in there were absolutely on it! When it came to acrylic nails. They are amazing, however, just recently I went in there and my nail tech was an older guy that always has a hat on and always sneezes, however, that part wasn’t the problem. This nail tech was very aggressive with my hands and I get acrylic nails with matte black polish. I don’t know what top coat he put on but it seemed to look more like a faux shiny leather instead of the matte color. This nail tech also tries to be fast instead of being patient to get the detail right. My design did not match the picture I wanted and the shapes were all different sizes, instead of being consistent… since this nail tech is also fast working, he nicked me several times with the nail machine to the point my skin came off and I bled and this was on ALL BEDS OF MY NAILS. He does not take his time to focus on the quality of the work. He just seems to want to hurry up and be done instead of focusing on you and your nails he is also worried about everyone else in the salon, which was very frustrating..especially when my goal is to get in and get out.. paying attention to detail is important!, but also working efficiently so a client isn’t in the salon for more time than they need to be, is just as important. I was so sad because I felt I found my nail home… but now that I got this person twice… I don’t feel I will be retuning to risk getting him a 3rd time... I knew something was off because the next day I went to another nail salon, to get it corrected and they had LOADS to say about my nails and wanted to know the name of the person that did them. The other nail techs are amazing !! But just watch out for the older man that wears hats and sneezes constantly…. Hope...
Read moreI would not recommend this place. They seem to be nice but one of the young ladies made fun of my friends to deformaty and although it was a different language the point and clear was talking about my friend. The tools use must not be cleaned very well because I got to fungus after getting my pedicure and when I asked about it the nail tech tried to tell me it was discoloration from the nail polish so I went to another salon to verify. I am not a nail tech but it looked like fungus to me.
First visit (early December) - I got a pedi and I don't think the girl that start my water and did my massage was licensed. Because I was then handed off to a man in his mid to upper 30s with a young boy. At this time I did not have fungus and I enjoyed my service.
Second visit (late December) - I went with a friend and her experience is described above. I got the same man and while he was taking off my polish I noticed my toe nail didn't look right. So I ask why is it that color and is that fungus. He responded no it's from your toe nail polish. I didn't quit believe him but figured he does this for a living surely he knows what he is talking about.
I went to Super Nails to get a second opinion and a pedicure. With one glance the tech said I was right. There was no denying it was fungus and told me I need to keep polish off of it and apply medicine.
This was a horrific experience and would not wish...
