Love this place!!! I’ve been getting my nails done by Tiana for the last two years, I was super sad to leave her (graduated). Tiana has pushed me to try new things and experiment with nails colors. She knows nails really well and always able to answer my questions and give me guidance on what to do (this is true of all the staff). I’ve tired matte, pinks, glitter, bright colors, cat eye, accent nails, etc. She was always willing to work around my schedule and knew exactly how I liked my nails and I didn’t even have to tell her (she knows me well). Tiana and LUX staff are kind, always welcoming, and high key my Sunday morning therapy (I’m here religious every two weeks)!!! We talk and do nails while Eric and JC crack jokes. LOVE TIANA, HAI, ERIC, TONY, and JC!!! Really lovely humans and have always made me feel welcomed since day one!!! This is the place in Lawrence to get your nails done, they are super warm and welcoming. I’m already trying to figure how I will be able to have another Tiana.

I bring my business to Trang because she always does amazing gel pedicures and dip powder nails for me. I love the chrome options for the dip powder. The “fancy” pedicures are nice to be sure to work on any calluses. I wish I had more pictures of all the times Trang has done my nails over the last couple years. I love when I’ve gone in and they’re playing pop music. Trang is very attentive to details regarding your nails looking clean and neat. Trang always remembers me and knows my preferences for shape and length. I know there are a couple other good nail techs. I would assume JC is good as he is friendly and speaks English well. Trang is just such a hard worker and I forgot to mention the leg massage while she uses sugar scrub and lotion for the fancy pedicure. I prefer harder pressure on my legs, and she’s great at that. I’ve enjoyed her service and enjoy talking to her. I appreciate checking in with them to find a good time too because I’m not a fan of coming when it’s busy. I've been here before and it was just ok, but yesterday was horrible. They were so unorganized. I made an appointment online, however when I arrived it seemed like they didn't even know I was coming. A lady and her man arrived after me and got seated before me. Which ok, whatever but it just got worse from there. The lady that did my pedi, didn't speak English so I didn't even bother asking a question that I had about the packages they offer. She was super nice, but wasn't able to do her job very good because she was all over the place; doing too many things at once. The lady that did my nails didn't speak English either so I just hoped for the best. She was all over the place as well, stopping mid stroke to do something else, tipping over the cuticle oil making a mess all over the table and my hands. Took 3hrs to get a mani and pedi and I'm not happy with either. The paint is already chipping not even 24hrs after. I only get this done once a year for my vacation, and am super bummed with how...
