Shoppers World — Local services in Lawrence

A lady friend,myself and my 14 year old son went here last night and this lady proceeded to follow us throughout the store. But I noticed when I went one direction she followed my lady friend and son. We went up to cash out and she was my cashier but she completely ignored me and watched the other cashier ring my friends stuff up and called security to stand by door. And then as she walked towards door told him to search her. Now the buzzer went off when her bag went through but when she put her bag down and walked through it didn't. Security checked her receipt and her cashier walked over checked it and it was fine. They were respectful. But my cashier takes my change throws it on the counter and loudly says oh no she stole something look at her she fits the type? I had to reach across the counter to the register to get my change. But I walked over as this lady is still accuser ber and she commented about the type again so I asked what type would that be? That's she's mixed? And the lady looks at me and says yes! So I told my friend to take my son out and proceeded to destroy everything she said with intellectual response and the lady gets mad tells me to leave? This is far from over. Her racist ignorance will cost her the job she has because she is far from being Top Flight security and ignorance like that has no place...

Whoever this woman is, she absolutely has no customer service whatsoever! This is my second interaction with her and the second one was worse than the first.

I got there 20-25 before closing and grabbed a couple of outfits for the kiddos. When I get in line.. mind you I'm the only person in the line. This woman tells the cashier, "At 8 pm don't ring nobody else up!"

The audacity of this woman is beyond me and the fact that she didn't even try to be discreet about it...but purposely allowed me to hear what she said out loud is extremely disgusting, disgraceful, lack of manners and no customer service whatsoever!

If it's not for the customers Ma'am you would be without a job! I hope you do see this message and get retrained anywhere from A-Z.

It's really sad these days that these types of companies will hire just about anyone to run the place to make a profit!

It's bad enough when we buy we can't even have the hangers we brought the clothes with just to have them thrown in a bag barely folded!!!...

I like to shop. Shoppers World is not the cleanest of stores, but it is okay considering the amount of traffic. I went around 3pm, so it wasn't super insane busy, but a nice crowd. To me, Shoppers World is one of those stores that has absolutely everything, but those items are just "fillers". Like you can buy your entire wardrobe from this place and thing you have quality clothing same with shoes. I've had my first child, a little girl, she's barely walking and I wanted shoes. I've wanted matching shoes. Honestly, I never thought I'd find some at this place. But I did. I really plan on going back in the future for small appliances, dishes, rugs for her room once it is set up, etc. It is certainly a great store to add to your shopping rounds. And again, um, shoes. Lots and lots of fun shoes!!! 4 pairs of shoes for her and 2 pairs for myself was just under $44.00. Can't...
