If you eat here, do not ever order it for delivery from a third party app because they consistently mess up the order. Eat it in the restaurant, because at least if they make a mistake, the waitress would know and tell the kitchen staff to correct it and the food is always the best quality when eaten there. Ordering it for delivery they will mess it up big time. I ordered aguachile mixta, which is a $36 plate with raw shrimp, scallops, and octopus in a lime brine with a spicy salsa. When I looked at it, it looked and tasted like it was made a couple of days ago. The lime completely cooked the shrimp, it left a foul aftertaste. If you leave raw meat in an acidic brine or marinade, it will "cook" the meat. The other day I ordered for delivery a molcajete Terramar, a $30 meal, and not only did they forget some of my order, but they oversaturated the molcajete with too much spicy sauce on top of it instead of giving the salsa on the side. The scenery they had to offer and the plating was very nice but I can't help but notice they are shy on the spices. I visited this place three times and although I try to enjoy their meats, I always end up with the same earthy taste at the end, which is not a good (usually means mold). Our office went there for lunch today. The food was delicious and well presented - a different menu from your typical latino restaurant featuring fish and seafood (they have other meats too). I had the shrimp empanadas which were superb! We had the shrimp ceviche and guacamole with chips for an appetizer - both were delicious and more elevated than other restaurants. The staff was helpful and friendly and patient with those of us that do not speak Spanish. Great...
