I am incredibly disappointed with PetSuites of America and feel compelled to share our ongoing negative experiences to help other pet parents make informed decisions. Last year, while boarding our dog at PetSuites, staff gave her another dogās medicationāeven though our dog wasnāt on any medication at the time. When we called to check on her from vacation, we were told she was already checked out. We rushed to the facility, only to learn that her chart had been mixed up. She was given a full medication schedule meant for another dog, which caused diarrhea and required a vet visit. Thankfully, the dosage was low and didnāt cause long-term harm to her, but this mistake was incredibly alarming. Worse, the other dog whose medication was mistakenly assigned to ours went without their antibioticsāa major concern for that family. PetSuites apologized and offered us a 10% discount on a future stay, which we decided to use about a year later while waiting for our house to be built. However, when we returned, the entire staff and management had changed. They claimed they couldnāt honor the 10% discount because they already applied a 10% discount for extended stays over 30 days. Despite this, and out of convenience, we trusted them again to care for our baby during a long stay. Unfortunately, this experience wasnāt much better. There were constant calls asking for payments, updates on how long we needed the boarding, and an overall lack of professionalism. Even though they knew our dog serves as a support animal for my wife, it sometimes felt like they doubted we would return for her. Despite having multiple credit cards on file, they repeatedly called us about billing. Every time we asked questions, the staff would have the manager call us back instead of addressing things directly, which only added to the frustration. And then came the final heartbreak. My wife has already detailed how our dog injured her paw pad during this stay. Seeing our dog rush out of that facility, hurt and emotionally distressed, broke our hearts. She is not the same dog we dropped off. If you love and care about your pets, I urge you to carefully read the reviews for PetSuites of America. Their repeated mistakes, lack of accountability, and poor communication have left us devastated. We wish we had trusted our instincts and chosen another place. This facility needs to take serious action to ensure the safety, care, and well-being of the pets...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreClean. Comfortable. Secure. FUN! Dogs were cared for and we got 24/7 peace of mind! Staff members are friendly, helpful, and happy.
We recently left our dogs here while on vacation and were very pleased! They stayed about a week and were very well taken care of. We booked a luxury suite which both dogs shared. We had access to 24/7 cameras for peace of mind while we were away, which we took full advantage of. The suite stayed spotless and was tended to quickly whenever the dogs needed attention. The dogs were fed and let out to potty regularly. Staff assured us of the times that the dogs would be let out or fed and they were spot on - the cameras as proof.
In addition to the suite, we booked all day play and it was very entertaining to see our dogs interacting with the other dogs as well as the trainers. The trainers/staff care for the animals as if they are their own. Trainers interact with and actually supervise the dogs. No cellphone usage in sight - a rare occurrence today and very appreciated!
Management will go above and beyond for you and your pets - Babar in particular is outstanding. An excellent communicator, knowledgeable, and transparent. Management is professional, organized, and provides excellent customer service. My dog has participated in day play at other establishments in the area but I now prefer Petsuites due to management, transparency, and the cleanliness of the establishment.
Our dogs received an exit bath upon pick up which I was very impressed with - I figured it would be a quick wash and rinse. However, our dogs were bathed with care, dried, sprayed with fragrance, and given a bandana. What a wonderful surprise that was.
Last but not least, after my dog was returned me (she stayed in the suite with my parentās dog) she seemed extremely happy and relaxed. This was the first time Iāve ever boarded her at a facility (she is 6) so I figured her personality would be different or she would need time to readjust. Nope! It was as if I never left her at all, which shows me that she had a fabulous stay and feels very comfortable at petsuites.
If youāre looking for a boarding facility, book here and you will not regret it! 5/5! Thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI booked a stay at Petsuites in league city on 8/18/24-8/24/24 for my pets. This was a first time boarding experience for us and sadly my last. I have 3 dogs that I boarded the morning of 8/18 and booked 2 rooms for them. We added the extra play time for our dogs that was an extra $400 on top of our boarding fees for that stay. I had to call to ask if they were getting those play times because every time I looked at the cameras the dogs were not out together. They assured me they were out together. I had to take their word for it. My dogs were to receive 3 potty breaks at 10mins and the extra play time each day of 30 mins. I checked the cameras religiously and noticed several times back to back different days and times (4pm,5pm,6pm & 7pm) dogs had peed in their kennels. Not like my dogs they never have accidents in their kennels at home so I left a message to the manager who never responded back to my concerns. I got home from my vacation and talked with the manager who said that it was probably my dogs being mad or scared that they peed their kennel and she would offer me a free bath for each of my dogs as an apology. I did appreciate the managers apology however I was disappointed that I had to be the one to take screens shots and message her about my dogs conditions when her staff should have noticed their conditions long before I did. My total bill was over $1300 for a week stay and extra play times. I feel as though the staff didnāt make sure my dogs went potty or didnāt care that they didnāt go and locked them up quickly after. My dogs had no other choice but to pee in their room for several days while they stayed at petsuites league city. I just wonder what else I didnāt catch on the cameras during my vacation. I was anxious feeling like I had to watch the cameras to see if my dogs were laying, walking,or sitting in their pee everyday. No peace of mind for me during their stay. I do not feel as though the money I paid reflected the services my dogs should have received. Iām disappointed in their visit and will find a better stay for my pets while vacationing...
