I have been a customer since opening 4 or 5 years ago. Up until recently no matter what time I visited I could get any of the whole menu selection. Slowly the staple employees have been missing and selection has started to dwindle. There needs to be a change back to old ways where when you open at 3:30am you have selection made. I drive by multiple Shirleyâs each morning and soon will be taking my business to another location that can provide what is advertised. And from the looks of the current reviews Iâm not the only one who has noticed the drastic shift at this location. Update: Since my donuts are usually not ready anymore I will get doughnut holes. The price was raised from $1.85 after tax to $2.05 after tax. What business person that sets their prices makes a product run $.05 over a whole dollar? The utter lack of common sense has been lost by this location. I understand inflation, but making the purchase of a product so intentionally awkward when actually said product is just trash from main products is ridiculous. Maybe business as a whole or total profit margins are down due to issues listed above? The answer isnât transferring your loses to customers still trying to help...
Read moreJust went thru the drive thru for a couple of sausage and cheese kolaches (my favorite.) Upon arrival, I waited a couple minutes which isn't a big deal, but when no one came to the window I backed up to activate the bell. When I returned to the window I wasn't greeted I was immediately told by the lady that she was with another customer and that she is the only one working in the afternoon. Said I didn't know that. She then proceeds to stare at me blankly because I've obviously upset her and asks me if there is a problem. Said nope, just want two sausage and cheese kolaches. I didn't come there to discuss the schedule and the labor concerns in regards to afternoon business, I just want the food. She never said hello or anything. So maybe give her some help or tell her that the customers indirectly are the reason...
Read moreHorrible customer service. Had a older man working helping the front counter, who barely spoke and I had to tell my order to 1 item by 1 item. I asked for a chocolate filled donut, we sat INSIDE so they can see that I took one bite and knew it was the wrong one. Husband took it to the counter for me and let them know I wanted a chocolate filled, not a chocolate donut thatâs cream filled. Knowing they (the girls) arenât the one who took my order they straight up told us âyou ordered the wrong donut sorryâ. And definitely thought it was funny for whatever reason? Costs them probably about 2¢ to give me the donut I did in fact order as Iâve ordered the same donut at any shipleys for 15 years now. We only even went here because Bonnieâs is on vacation and I will never make that...
