Amy's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Leawood

I just visited Amy's Hallmark Shop this past Tuesday, and I want to single out two staff members by name. I was shopping for a gift for a little girl, and I had NO idea what was a good/appropriate gift to select. Becky helped me browse the children's section, and we talked about the child's likes and dislikes, and she was able to guide me to the perfect gift, at a GREAT price! And Chris was available, right when I walked in, to steer me toward the "Just Because" cards, to send to another friend. Many thanks to both Becky and Chris for making my shopping easier and so pleasant! I just want to say what a lovely place Amy's Hallmark Shop is! I don't live close by, but I make it a point to stop by whenever I have errands in the area.

All the staff are friendly and so helpful! The store's layout is open, spacious and welcoming, and the selection of merchandise is top-notch. And because I have a Crown Rewards card, most of the time I'm able to purchase items at a discount--how nice!

The store has several methods to combat the spread of COVID-19; they require masks on entering (and all staff wear masks); there is sanitizer available; and there are plexiglass shields at the registers. In addition, there are friendly notices around the store regarding social distancing. I appreciate their care and concern for our health and safety.

I like Hallmark my daughter and i went here for the first time. I was looking for the Christmas movies that i so enjoy on the Hallmark channel. The Christmas movies was packed away in the back and one of the women that works there went in the back and brought them out too me so i could go through them and find what i like. My wife went in to order Christmas ornaments. She waited in line for her turn, only to be told “let me ring in all the other people and then I’ll help you”. Mind you there were two others working behind the counter. My MOL has spent thousands over the years at this store, and I am just amazed that when my wife went in to spend quite a bit of money that she was treated so rudely.
