About 15 years ago, the diamond ring I inherited from my grandmother was stolen. I searched high and low for a replacement, unsuccessfully. My family has been a long-time customer of BT O'Donnell's, so I decided to try to have the ring duplicated. I had only an old appraisal description and b&w photo copy of the ring to show Andrew O'Donnell. The big problem was the main stone, which I'd always been told was a "brown diamond," and I remembered it being kind of the color of root beer! Andrew found a beautiful diamond from one of their many sources, but it wasn't quite right. As we were talking in the store, he mentioned that perhaps the stone was a cognac diamond and showed me one that was just the right size that he had in stock. It was perfect! My fiance has worn a ring that she got from her grandmother 10+ years ago, yesterday morning it had cracked straight through. She was an emotion wreck. I took it in to them, and they understood how valuable the ring was, i went and picked the ring up not even a full 24hrs later.
