My mom is getting married and my family has used ETC Bridal for two other weddings, so my mom was referred here.
We found our dresses and the first initial visit was wonderful. Coming back for measurements, was an okay experience also. All was well so we thought!
Going back to get the bridesmaids dresses fitted, we all realized our dresses were so big! 4-6 sizes ordered to big so drastic alterations was needed, because they ordered the wrong sizes.
We were all assured they could still work. My biggest concern was the bust area, since the dress is a size 12 and I am a size 8. I was assured it would be completely manageable. It wasn’t; the arm pits are way to tight and the bust was just stuff with very thick padded cups. Not at all what I asked for or what was discussed prior.
Will not even refund, and because this shop waiting so long after the dresses had been paid off they couldn’t even order the correct size then alter the minor alterations it would need.
This shop was completely at fault and although they attempted to “fix” their mistake in the end, the dress is useless and was my biggest fear. I do not recommend this shop to anyone, unless they get a detailed invoice and report on exactly what sizes are going to be ordered etc.
Which we did not, an no one approved ordering multiple sizes to big for myself nor for the other bridesmaids. One lady admitted “It just fell through the cracks”. What a terrible explanation!
I am dumbfounded by the professionalism of this bridal shop. The dresses are priced just roughly $20-$50 less than many other exceptional bridal shops. So finding another bridal shop with better service would be very easy.
Not only was this an issue but my moms wedding dress had a stain of blood dropped on it during alteration! They did get the stain out or altered it out however. Dresses that were said to be done, were not done twice when we drove an hour and half to try them on.
I would rate 1/5 stars but I rated 2 because the first visit was fine, so forth they never took responsibility of the error they made which in turn left me dressless two weeks before the wedding day.
If you pay for a dress it should be perfect, you should not have a dress that fall under “it’s manageable” that is when a refund of half or full should come into play when the bridal shop itself made the mistake and continued to say “there is not enough time to order a new dress”.

My husband (then fiancé) went in to see about getting tuxes for our wedding there, and they made him sign a contract before anyone else went in or knew what we even wanted! A month later everyone came in to get measured and see how much they would cost. It was an outrageous price (we went to Springfield later and found you can buy a whole suit for less than what they wanted to rent them) so we said no thanks we do not want them. A week before the wedding they call my husband and asked about the tuxes, and he informed them we still did not want them. They went ahead and ordered them and we DID NOT USE THEM. A week after the wedding we got court summoned, and at court we found out they wrote their contract where it was possible for them to change any details of the contract at anytime. So now we are stuck paying their ridiculous bill for tuxes that we did not even use for the wedding. These are cold owners who do not mind suing a newly married couple. I got my wedding dress, my daughter's dress, nieces dress, sisters dress and my husbands suit from here and just the amazing service I had for the entire experience was wonderful. The whole process of looking and finding my dress and everyone else's outfit was amazing, from trying on dresses, to finding the one to the fitting and alterations this bridal company truly did outstanding, so personable and amazing and they made sure everything was PERFECT before the wedding day. The owners Sheri and Dennis I can't rave enough about, such amazing, humble loving people who truly want to make sure your special day is just that, SPECIAL. For me they did absolutley that an more.
