I tried to ask a foreign employee if there was any heavy whipped cream not dated March 12. I explained I had bought some last week and it was so spoiled it was hard and coagulated. He checked for me and they still had 5 boxes dated March 12. Again I told him it was hard and rotten. He told me "thats good". Sympathizing for his lack of English, I went up front and told an English speaking person. This approximately 40 year old man told me he would report it to the manager. He came back out while I was bagging my groceries and stated. "This is the first time my manager has heard about it. If he gets a few more complaints, he will check into it."
All I could think was I was better off with the man unable to understand me!
I am very concerned about their lack of assuring safe products, and will note how management handled this in regards to future...
Read moreAldi is one of my favorite stores. However you have to pick and choose what products you buy anywhere. I winter in florida and live in the northeast in the summer. I shop with them in both places. I have noticed and have written to the company wondering why there is such a large discrepancy in prices on some products. Fig newton's are 1.65 in naples florida and .98 cents in Massachusetts, I find that to be a bit of a price gouging problem. They blame it on transportation, but I'm not buying it. It's the difference of the demographic which is what our country faces these days with a crook at the helm. Will continue to shop there , just thought everyone...
