ALDI — Local services in Lemay

New policy includes leaving your bag at the front desk even if it’s in your cart. This applies to men with any form of bag but looking around the store, you’ll always find several women with open purses that no one bats an eye at. I’ve offered to happily let employees look through my bag if they ever feel like I may have stolen something, but They won’t acknowledge that idea and would sooner ask me to leave the store entirely. I don’t appreciate this new criminalizing policy and double standard. If you think I’m a thief, WATCH YOUR CAMERAS! “Or” ASK TO LOOK IN MY BAG! Why should I have to risk my personal property being stolen while it’s unattended at the front desk? Also remember that you basically need to bring your own bag to pack your groceries thus is the main reason Everyone brings one in the first place. 😡 I hate having to vent like this, because I actually really like this location and most of the staff otherwise. But we all know these policies only exist because the local drug addicts keep sneaking in to shove food in their pocket...

Pay attention your sale price and receipt. They are not adjusted the price mark down with red tag. I notice to the lady scan items on sale , merchandise just mark the number down to make me happy then still charge full amount on my bill. I get that problem 5 times already make I fell uncomfortable.( I got more these sale items then one or two). The first time and last time I come back talk to Manager, she is not want to check my receipt over charge showing clearly because merchandise not reduced money number down even the price sale down.She kept claim on me and she is claim on worker not good trainer. Then said sorry. I don’t need sorry. I have frustrated. I could have these items fresher for what I have pay. I thought how many people go there shopping have the same trouble like that ? Aldi should do the wright thing with customer. I’m not trust your merchandise...

The workers are nice but Im done giving my money to this Aldis. They put STALE food on the shelves just to sell it. The other Aldi's dont do this... Its seriously infuriating. I buy organic products for my daughter that are a bit pricey and more than half the time I get home and realize its stale or it goes stale a day later because they have had it on their shelves so long. Nothing is EVER stocked and if the workers can tell your looking for help they ignore you. They will tell you they are going to get you a product from the back and then never return. Iv seen this happen to several people while shopping there.. its not just me. This aldis is in a more impoverished area and they are taking advantage of that fact by pushing stale food to the people in this area who work hard for their money....
