This is a unique pocket-sized store with really cool K-pop merch.. Love this place and itâs interesting finds. Any K-Pop Stan and multi-tan can find something meaningful that you can not live another day without! đYes you can find some merch from most of your favorite artists here, however, i feel that the array is too highly dominated by BTS items. They could use more balance throughout all available merch for other groups/artists. It would be great if they could add more colors to the crĂšme shop BT 21â lip stain, (incredible product!) and add more âall typesâ merch for Stray Kids & NCT all units, in particular. That said, though, my daughter and I LOVE our trips to go fan-girling at this store, and itâs happy bonding time to for us!
All items weâve bought here are outstanding quality, way better than expected, the jewelry in particular! The store holds some special artist promo events with partners, but the important deets about them was vague in the fliers, website, and in asking staff for info. Idk yet if any industry artists ever do make an appearance (if touring) at the âartistâ events, or if theyâre fan events only. Iâm just happy to have learned that they DO have industry-related events! I donât want to crush my teenâs heart say if I take her to an Artist Promo event thinking that an artist either will actually appear, or that theyâll be on a big screen doing live streams, and they donât⊠so many outstanding KPop (JPop, CPop and more) groups, solo artists & biases have captured her heart (and mine) & inspired her to dance, sing and learn multiple languages â so itâs important to be able to get full info before attending the events.
This store has a light, joyful atmosphere due to the familiar music playing and merch that is adorable and really unique. Like rummaging through a Kpop âattic.â Visits are fun because of surprises and humor stashed among the nooks and crannies everywhere. Itâs a treasure hunt! Hoping that fans come out and support this business, so they can open numerous locations around S.A. No doubt in my mind, the K-Pop SA store has wicked potential to gather and rally fans together frequently, because the desire to want to support these incredibly hard-working, talented and deserving artists overseas is just so strong. This industry is an absolute joy to love and stan! Visiting this store feels like a small way to say thanks đ«¶đ»for their hard work and tireless dedication to spread happiness across continents through music. đ¶đ€đșđżđșđż
imp:: If youâre driving there to buy a t-shirt, sadly as of now they do NOT carry t-shirts (main reason we went;) no bucket hats seen yet but I will keep checking. it would be great addition to add affordable clothing fashion which teens can afford, similar to equal to what idols wear (with or without logo) i.e. past and future concert tees & hoodies, bucket hats, product endorsements (NCT = Nature Republic skincare,) a few more cosmetics adding to the incredibly silky lip stain, crystal face adornments, that our favorite groups/artists wear in photo shoots and MVs that TEENS can buy and will want to go back and buy more of at max $30-25 and below.
Any Items from Capsule fashions designed by individual artists are a TREASURE if the store were to ever carry them, weâd definitely buy., without sticker shock. No joke last year I ordered a t-capsule shirt + hoodie designed by NCTâs Johnny, overseas, directly from the manufacturer-artist website. It took SIX months of items cancelled, re-ordered, emailed, shooing delays and arrived in 6 months. Waaaay missing my daughterâs birthday. Will happily support this K-Pop store & buy local. They have an array of school/desk supplies, keychains, charms, jewelry, cosmetics, of course ALBUMS đ¶, photobooks, photocards - everything in extreme cuteness & durability. This store is a...
Read moreI've been supporting this small company for about 4 years now, after I discovered their Corpus location while on vacation. I was super excited to find this store after I moved to San Antonio from DFW where there's a much larger Kpop scene. Plus the other main store was mostly BTS and BlackPink. The reason i'm giving them three stars is because it's so poorly hit or miss on the experience; depending on who's working.
The staff here seems to have a problem with male stans. I've been a K-pop stan since 2009 with Wonder Girls, and never experienced any negativity in DFW. Here, the staff's mood immediately changes any time I enter the store without one of my female friends. They will be super happy and giggly with female customers, but the moment I approach the register (or if i'm alone) they instantly drop their mood and make it clear they don't want me in the store.
I could deal with just timid or rude staff, it is what it is, but I've been denied my pre-order benefits for my albums. I bought a Taemin Guilty SMini during a sale, and paid full price. I even tried to get help finding a Wonwoo POB for their Seventeenth Heaven comeback and the girl at the desk wouldn't help me. Another employee (who i'm assuming was the manager) came flying out from the office and assisted me and was very nice. I even had a lovely conversation with her a few weeks ago about the ridiculous size of the B.A.P Christmas album.
Mistreatment of male stans seems to be a problem throughout all of San Antonio, but considering that there's only maybe 4 stores here in San Antonio, the manager, or owner might want to consider retraining their staff to be excepting of everyone; because at this point, it's probably better to just wait til i visit DFW again, or just use my Kaddy to...

I love this little Kpop store! The prices were great and they were fully stocked. They were giving away posters with an album purchase too. I highly recommend to visit!
I changed my rating on this place for a couple reasons... I visited this store recently on my birthday along with my husband and young daughter. When I opened the door to enter, one of the store employees immediately told us we had to exit the store because they only admit 7 people in the store at a time ( they are also very strict about wearing masks). There were only 6 people at the time. After exiting the store and waiting outside we saw a handwritten sign about the 7 person limit. It felt very jarring, awkward, and made me want to leave tbh. Luckily 2 people exited the store very quickly and we entered. I didn't feel welcome though and it was uncomfortable. The first thing I noticed was that their prices went WAY UP. And they were marking up "kpop" items that are sold at lower prices at CVS. I went specifically looking BT21 keychains, but all they had were unofficial knock off items. This place has been well established for some time, and have had customers every time I've been. I don't understand how this shop hasn't improved. Its dark and feels like a...
