Meijer — Local services in Leoni Township

This review is for the pharmacy. I have been getting my prescriptions at Meijer . On east michigan, avenue for years i've been taking alprazolam for 10 years. Im very careful with my medication. I know that I can pick my medication 2 days early. I have 4 grandkids that live with me and my days are busy.so I always try to get them as soon as I can. So I can mark it off my to-do list. When I called on monday, I was told that I could pick it up on thursday. When I called this morning I was told that my insurance denied it due to being to early. I knew that was not correct. So I called my insurance company . They told me that they had already processed the payment and there was no issues with it. When I called Meijer back, I spoke to a woman and I told her what my insurance said, i told her the insurance company said they could call them and get the answers that they needed. She told me that, with all my medications being picked up two days early that I should have a quote "stockpile" of extra medication . I told her she had no idea what my story was in regards to my medication and that it was none of her business how many per day.i was prescribed that I knew the law that they were wrong and they needed to look into it.She huffed and puffed and put me on hold. When she came back on the phone, she said there was an error and someone marked it as too early and they were going to go ahead and fill it,. I know, for a fact the woman I talked to this morning that told me it wasn't available was the same women when I talked to in the afternoon. I do not like being treated like I'm a drug addict being rudely talked to, no one should be judged on the medication they take . Everyone has a story as to why they are on the medication...

I always shop at meijers everyday for the last three years, today was the first time they have insulted me for stealing two packs of chicken.....like are you serious, I tried to talk to them saying it was a misunderstanding because my HUSBAND was scanning and I was packing and we have gotten so comfortable with everyone that works there we scan how we usually scan and they took it as we was stealing, and then they wanna say this is due to a previous incident where we brought a cat furniture and the price kept changing on the scanner and said we tried to buy it cheaper....

i stated no we did not and I have the receipt where it SHOWS we brought it full price and not what they stated.... SO BACK TO TODAY! I never felt so embarrassed like I did today for something I did not do... yes I did see where they were coming from but they didn't want to hear my saying on what REALLY happened...

and just to shove it in their face... the cop even believed me what I was saying.... many other stuff happened tonight but I just wanted to say how embarrassing this was and how they both could not say anything after it was over because the cop KNEW I was telling the truth.... from someone who comes everyday buying donesnt make sense for me to steal two packs of chicken....

and could not work with me but call me a liar and wanted me to admit something that wasn't true! I was calm and trying to explain myself and all I got was rudeness and disrespect!

But I understand they r doing their job but they can't just assume.This goes tot he rude security guy and the accuser night shift manager that clearly did not know what she was...

I would give the ZERO stars if I could!!!!!!! This store is a joke!!!! I usually go to the one on airport rd but this one was closer as I was stopping fast on my way home... they had viva paper towels clearly marked 12.99 regular 17.99 I get to the checkout and each rang up 19.99!! I even told the lady they are marked clear as day 12.99 all of them in the whole section I said you might want someone to switch the tag or you may have irate customers later on ... then I had a separate order so I could use coupons she proceeded to tell me they will separate when she finishes ringing up everything well they didnt because she didnt separate my order like I asked in the first place and even had everything separated how I needed to use for the coupons so it wouldnt have been no extra work for her ... then 2 of my coupons I couldnt even use she said they wasnt for the east side store only airport but no where on the coupon does it state this.... needless to say I will NOT be returning to this store and what gets me is the store had hardly anyone in it so it wasnt like she was in a rush because of other customers.... EXTREMELY disappointed and they need to get things straight before they end up with...
