We've been here twice and most recently ordered online a ground beef burrito bowl with Mexican rice, black & pinto beans, as well as 8 other ingredients for $12 and it was absolutely massive!! Easily 2+ meals and rewarms really good. You get so many options without the price jumping, but of course there are options for additional cost.
We also got a grilled steak tortilla burrito which was huge, but seemed more expensive than it should be compared to the burrito bowls since all that is being added is a tortilla shell. You chose a protein, steak being an additional $1.75 above the base price of $9.99, and you can only add 5 other ingredients, giving you fewer options than the bowls, and then the price keeps rising.
Previously, we purchased their tacos for Taco Tuesday and they were really good.
Food tastes great, but the service and atmosphere could use some work. And depending on what you order (burrito bowl vs. tortilla burrito) it is a little pricey.
I ordered my food "curbside" giving them the description of my vehicle as requested online, and when I got there they just stood inside looking at me, and they were not busy. I had to go in and get my food. I also had to turn around when I realized they forgot my chips and salsa. The employees looked miserable both times. No greetings when walking in, no smiles, no apologies, moving slow as snails looking tired and/or bored.
I'll be back again because the food tastes great and what I personally like ordering (burrito bowl) is definitely worth the money. But, if you're more concerned with customer service and a warm welcoming experience, this is not the...
Read moreStaying in Jackson area for a couple weeks and needed a quick bite after the gym. Saw the sign exiting the highway and decided to give it a try over Arby’s or some other fast food that was close by on Michigan Ave. When given the opportunity I prefer to spend my money with a local establishment than something I can find at home, glad Los Tres was open.
Parking is ample in this strip mall. Restaurant was very clean(an employee was actually cleaning when I entered). Friday special is $2 tacos, and although I do like a deal, I decided to skip the shells and order a burrito bowl. They have a few choices for protein, I went with Birria which was an up-charge. The food was good, $12 out the door meat was flavorful, and very much similar to your national chain bowl. Guacamole and queso are add on charges as well. Over all I think the food was quite good and reasonably priced. I may come back next Friday and try the tacos and some of the assortment of salsas as I only went with a medium salsa on my bowl and it was good, although maybe not the flavor profile I was looking for, think it was more of a smoky chipotle style. I definitely will come back. Not sure about all the negative reviews but my experience was good. Young man making my bowl was kind, attentive, and made me aware of any possible up-charges with...
Read moreI wouldn't have even left a review about the tummy aches today, but since they made me so uncomfortable...here we go. I'm a picky eater. So when a piece of grilled chicken hit my quesadilla, that was red and veiny, I kindly asked the gentleman to remove it. He did, and I accepted that as my loss (meaning I did not ask him to replace the chicken). Once my food goes on the press, a man came in from the kitchen area. I'm assuming a manager...? Anyway, he proceeds to discuss (with the gentleman serving me) in spanish, the encounter I had just had while ordering. News flash, spanish isn't a secret language...and we heard you. If its something you don't want the customer to hear, don't try masking it with spanish. Maybe wait until an appropriate time, when the customers aren't present. Or just do it privately. Lots of people are bilingual and multi-lingual. Not to mention a little thing called google translate... COMPRENDE? Won't return, due to being made to feel so uncomfortable...not the tummy aches we...
