Yelp Review: Cherry (marijuana dispensary) Jackson, MI

Sadly, Cherry is no cherry. We have been going out of our way to try all or most of the many cannabis dispensaries in the Jackson area. Cherry is one of the newer ones, settled in a former bank, it boasts a drive thru window. And has some really rock bottom specials now and then, like ’10 for $10’ pre-rolls – made of an inferior blend but the convenience is sort of worth it: you get what you pay for.

However, recently we bought Snow Caps in flower 3.5 oz. It was not cheap and was supposed to be infused with 50% THC. It tasted terrible (like vomit terrible) and DID NOT get us high. We called them back; they said yes, “it should have gotten you blasted.” They offered to “do something about it” and for the manager to call us back. He/she did not, so when we went in the next day and explained that we had called the previous day, they were like, “We don’t take product back, we don’t know if you have laced it with something”!!!???

We were not asking to have them take it back to re-sell it – of course not, but just to make good on 100% customer satisfaction that they promise, and to replace it with other, better, less foul, more reliable product. They just said “sorry… you’re SOL.”

That was the wrong answer, delivered with a very bad attitude. If we could give zero stars, we would. Take your weed business to Lettuce, or 420, or Lume, or Mood. These are all...

Let me first say, upon entering the building the atmosphere is so nice and the decor brings back that 70's/80's vibe which I love. Now let's get to the actual experience. I waited in the waiting room a little over 10 mins. There's no menu or anything to preview before you go back to shorten up the wait time giving us a preview of what's available. Getting to the back, they had 3 options of flower, a few pre packed 1/8 options, mostly offering what looked to be edibles and pre-rolls. I bought 1 pre packed 1/8 and 2 of the bulk flower options. I'll start with the better of the 3. The pre-packed flower was the better of my 3 items but still only mediocre. The flavor was good, and it was softer of the 3 HOWEVER all 3 broke down into dust. This was my first and probably my last visit. Considering there's so many other options less than a mile away with better quality and same prices. I would continue going where they have a promising selection. Each choice of flower had so many sticks and stems, it seemed to be outdoor flower. Lastly I will say the budtender was very nice and professional. I would not trust her recommendations again, because they were all fails but i understand the concept of working with what you have to offer. I was trying to not let it show I was overwhelmed with disappointment of options. I appreciate her patience...

Not really a fan. The people running the joint don’t really pass the vibe check. Yellow hair trainer/manager was low on patience, but so was I. She wasn’t much interested in helping out her pink&black haired trainee and left the trainee to tend me by herself. Which would have been completely fine, but she didn’t know how to give me the new customer discount and panicked. I told her to not worry about it. Wasn’t worth her panic or my time and I didn’t so much care to see the yellow haired manager since she wasn’t exactly super kind from the get go.

Probably won’t be back. But I definitely wanted someone like me to know these details before wasting time or money in that place.
