I want to start by explaining that I have been with this company for almost 10 years now. I started a plan through them, because at the time they were the only RELIABLE cell service I could get in Troy, Idaho and the surrounding areas including Elk River. Cell service had been iffy in Lewiston even since then, but 5 years ago, I officially Moved down here, and within a month it was constant issues, such as My phone never even ringing and sometimes I wouldn't even get a notification that I "missed" a call until I'd later open the call/phone app for another reason. Another constant issue has been, that genuinely almost 7 / 10 attempts to make a call will never begin to go through and you're stuck in never ending silence until you try and try and try again to make your call. Whether it be another inland cell user or not. I've had probably 5 different phones scince starting with them so I promise it's not a technology issue. Another memorable experience was back when I was in highschool and they tried to deny my insurance for phone repair/replacement because "they no longer made that model." And calling them to resolve the other issues, you'll always get the same answer that you're probably in a bad reception spot. It's honestly baffling they have ran a company this long with the same persistent issues and I'm overall even more embarrassed to still have had a plan with them for as long as I did all because of "brand loyalty" to the company that I had little to no issues with through highschool and a long while after. I don't think I've had another frustration as bad with something as simple as trying to make a call a phone...
Read moreThis is the worst cell phone service I have ever had or heard of. As an example, one time we were sitting outside the Inland store and did not even have enough service to send a text message, and when we went in to ask about it they just said they were having âdata problems.â If you travel, never get Inland. I travel often and I do not have service in most of the United States, usually relying on wifi hotspots for data. The rest of the time it is so slow to load that I feel like I am using dial-up on a desktop. I was traveling this last summer (2018) and ended up totally losing all service for two weeks due to fires in the LC Valley area. I couldnât make calls or send texts, and was lucky enough to have someone with me who had AT&T. Mind you, I had no idea about the fires, I just woke up one day in Missouri and was unable to use my phone for anything. This company simply does not have the resources to provide good service, locally or outside the area.
They get one extra star because whenever we go into the Lewiston store, they always help us quickly and have great...
Read more"Unfortunately" seems to be their tag line. Their coverage has been spotty at best and here in the LC Valley, I'm on their roaming network. On Monday, 6/26, I went in and they ran a ticket up to their network operations. After two days, I've heard nothing. I called to check on it an the tech I spoke with said because the ticket was with network operations, there was nothing he could do. I kept trying to see what could be done... he used the term "Unfortunately" 4 or 5 times in a 3 minute call.
UPDATE The connection issues got worse. I walked in and the manager on duty looked at my phone and said it wasn't reading the SIM card which is interesting since the phone complains when the SIM card is removed. Coincidentally, my wife's phone had the exact same issue. Their solution? Sell us new phones for 3X the price and bump up our monthly rates. I've taken my business to...
