Ordered online order on Friday March 29,2024. Set a pickup time of 4:45pm. According to the app at 4:40 they still had not started preparing the order. Walked inside, told them I was there for the order and was told they were just about done with it (me thinking maybe the app was just running slow at this point or nobody was updating it accordingly), we ordered a couple a sodas and waited. It was quite a large order planning on having leftovers for the household to have a couple of days to eat on. After waiting 10-12 minutes they finally had the chicken done and in buckets sitting in the counter, took them another solid 15 minutes to get the rest of the order together and ready. All the chicken was ordered as extra crispy because that’s the way everybody in the house likes it. So about 5:15 (a full 30 minutes after the scheduled pickup time) I’m finally walking out the door with the order. 12 minute car ride home, pack everything inside and get ready to start dishing up dinner for the family. By now the extra crispy chicken has been sitting steaming in the bucket for 30-35 minutes. No longer crispy, just a soggy, steamed mess. The staff really should be trained to package and prepare all the sides first, so the chicken isn’t sitting in a “steam room” (the bucket) getting soggy. Between the food and drinks was about $90. That fed a family of 3 for 4 days which was planned ahead of time at ordering.
We don’t get fast food very often so it’s a treat when we do, but we were completely disappointed with the not extra crispy, not even crispy chicken when we sat down to eat it. KFC either needs to redesign their chicken buckets, or staff needs to better trained as to when to package it so it doesn’t sit steaming in the bucket for...
Read morePlaced an order through the drive thru. Was told my initial order wasnt able to be complete due to lack of chicken. Asked for smaller order and was told the same, and got really frustrated. May have overreacted with my frustration and said some choice words. Left drive thru and spicy chicken sandwich had no spicy sauce. Went inside disgruntled and was venting on the phone and used some swear words. A gentlemam who was a shift manager came out to go home and appeared confrontational from the start, told me to shut my mouth. A screaming match ensued out in the parking lot. The gentleman took a photo of my lisence plate and told me he was calling the cops, while screaming at me with his hands gestured out and jumping at me, while yelling at me not to touch him, and cussed at me also. General manager came out and asked me to leave. He then put his arms out and said yeah i better leave. Called general manager to discuss situation after i left and apologized for my behavior but also made it clear i felt as if the gentleman was trying to provoke me and continue the incident longer than necessary. The general manager was very apologetic and understanding and handled things very gracefully, but indicated all she could do was discuss the incident with him and keep an eye on him... but i unfortunately have a bad taste in my mouth for the establishment due to the gentleman who remains employed there as a manager and do not wish to return while he is...
Read moreToo long; didn't read version: Clean restaurant, friendly service, and decent fast food chicken.
So, anyway, you will want to visit this location if you are into fried chicken. I've never been into KFC restaurants, but it looks like they've upped their game since I have been there last. For one thing, they have affordable $5 meals now, which come with an entree, a biscuit, mashed potatoes, a drink, and even a cookie. It was actually too much for me and I had to throw some away.
Also, the restaurant is clean, inviting, and has a fresh, new look. The staff was exceptionally friendly, which is always nice. The dining room area was a bit on the small side, but it wasn't crowded while I was there, so no real complaints from me.
Overall, it's worth a visit. KFC did...
