Enterprise Rent-A-Car — Local services in Lewistown

I’ve never rented a car from this location but never had heard anything bad about it. My experience though was nothing but AWFUL with them. I rented a car about 1 1/2 months ago and returned the car during non business hours and dropped the key in the lock box. I thought everything was fine, but about a week after I received a call saying that the card had been either stolen or not returned. They kept telling me that they had process to follow and wouldn’t file a police report. They don’t have any cameras and I surely didn’t want them blaming me for a mistake on their part so I filed a police report. Long story short, they were supposed to track the car and that’s what they kept saying for about 3 weeks and never did. They told me that they would contact me when they found the car. Just a couple of days ago, I finally received the deposit back and no call to update me about the car. I called them and they told me that the car magically appeared in their parking lot a 2 weekends ago and no ones knows who took it for one month or how it was returned. Horrible service, they lied to my face about the car whereabouts, and kept the deposit, and blamed me for a stolen car. If you ever dropped off your car off during non business hours be careful! They said that someone comes on Sunday’s to check the keys but when I asked they said that the person lives near by and goes whenever he feels like it. So everything sounded very shady to me. Everytime I rent a car which is at least once a month Enterprise charges my credit card for tolls. They say that a copy of the citation is unavailable. I know the tolls were paid because the receipts were sent with my expense report. They are not legitimate and they charged me over a 100.00 for a toll in Florida and I never had the rental in Florida. It wasn't out of the state of PA. When I notified customer service, they argued with me. I ask them to check my mileage out and in for that vehicle. That would have proved I did not have that car in Florida, she said that the information was unavailable. In 3 months they have made over 300.00. I got a citation, it was paid, they still charged me. I will NEVER rent another vehicle from them. I will drive 45 miles to rent from another company with better customer service and one that dont charge my card for things they cant send...

I was rear-ended and needed a rental. This being the only place in town, I had to use them... I wish I didn't have to. The van they gave me had a low tire level, asked them to fill it and was greeted with an attitude, the guy grabbed the keys from my hands and didn't even talk to me. It kept losing air in the tires after driving around all day. When I told them about it they told me the weather, it was in the 60s, would do that.... No not after driving around all day and there was a piece of metal sticking out of the tire they said was superficial. You don't lose that much air without a leak.
