In my first visit to the Home Zone on Valley Ridge in Lewisville I worked with Nick on getting some basic ideas on what I was wanting for my house, and he was patient and helpful with me. I am sure that had he been there when I made my purchases the experience would have gone just as smoothly. However, the majority of my experience there was working with Paola when I came in a few days later to actually make a gameplan and map out the rooms. I also made my purchases through her. She as well as the rest of the staff were patient with me as I tried to piece together what parts I would want for the sectional I liked while also showing me similar ones to give me a visual cue as to how it would look based on the parts I was choosing. Daniel was also quite helpful that day in designing the layout and explaining why what I was looking to get would work well.
Perhaps what I liked most about Paola specifically was her eagerness and genuine happiness to help. I came with pen and paper wanting to sit down, take my time, and actually plan it all out. I was drawing out possible options and figuring out what I could get, and I had several questions. I thanked her for her patience, and I admitted that I knew I was asking a ton of questions. I said how I was trying not to be difficult by asking about so many things, but her response wasn't just one of understanding, but one of gratitude towards me for being there.
You can find several employees at all different kinds of stores that clearly don't like their job and don't want to be there. Instead of having that attitude towards work, Paola THANKED me for being there and giving her the chance to do her job. That enthusiasm is near impossible to find nowadays in an employee, and it made me even more sure of my purchase as she was careful to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. She answered every question clearly, let me repeat it back in my own words to make sure I understood her, and she made me confident that I got the right pieces to fit the space in my room just as I envisioned it.
Lastly, Paola and Daniel both made conversation with me while finalizing the order that felt personable and like I was more than just another customer. They got to know me, where I moved here from, my interests, and they let me show pictures of the house I bought (partially to make sure it would fit the way I intend), but also to let me share in my excitement about the new home. It wasn't simply a transactional visit to get stuff for my house. It was a personable visit that made me want them at the housewarming. They felt like friends and not salespeople. I appreciated that a lot.
The delivery is set for this Thursday, the 23rd, and if anything bad were to happen there I will follow up, but I do not expect it.
In short, the patience, professionalism, personal touch, and the eagerness that you almost never see nowadays to do one's job and make sure the customer is happy made me thankful I went to Home Zone. Nick was there the first day and the day I came back to get the last pieces ordered for my delivery, and he was helpful both days. Seemed like a great guy too, but I especially wanted to thank Paola and Daniel for making this experience as stress free and easy...
Read moreEvery time I go to Home Zone I leave off with an amazing experience. It’s truly the most welcoming furniture store that I’ve ever been to! I do want to give a very special thank you and recognition to one of their store employees, DAMIAN !!! , he was genuinely so kind and PATIENT with me while I was taking my sweet sweet time figuring out what I wanted. He was super helpful and informative and it all helped me come to a decision and ended up buying a sofa AND love seat. Another thing is, this is my third time buying from them and I can truly say that their furniture is actually durable quality WITH affordable prices !!! I literally drove 30 min away to go to this other furniture store only to drive another 30 min back to buy the sofa from Home Zone because none of them compared to the price and aesthetic of the Lilliam couch. All in all everyone is super nice and their furniture is beautiful:) not mention they literally have a whole bar with coffee and ice cream etc !!! Genuinely in a weird way it does give really homey vibes and it doesn’t feel like anyone is trying to sell you anything. I could shop in peace :) and if I had any questions Damian was there to...
Read moreThe staff were all amazing and super helpful. Paola, Teresa, and Thomas were all amazing! They greeted us and then guided us to what we wanted and did not try to use any sales pressure tactics. They checked on us periodically and even used order history to compare for us what style we were looking to purchase. Paola was so patient with me even when I changed my mind a couple of times and even came back another day to add a coffee table. She updated my order and explained everything in detail, all with a smile. Thomas even looked up my mother's new apartment floorpan to see if a table she wants will fit. Again, he answered questions with a smile. Teresa was also there with a smile and answered all of our questions and guided us to differerent styles to find the best fit. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for furniture. I haven't seen this type of great customer service in years! Delivery was on time and even kept me updated...
