Wing2Go — Restaurant in Lewisville

I feel bad for not posting this review before - we order from them regularly for take-out because they're the best. So many places these days are undependable on quality - everyone I know talks about their poor post covid restaurant experiences from fast food drive-through's to sit down expensive restaurants...Not them, they've been consistently excellent over the last 2 + years we've been ordering, including tonight. They have a wide variety of items on the menu besides wings - which I always order because they are great! and are great left over for later...and their burgers are great, the bulgogi, the fried rice, the fried dumplings - always SUPER FAST and super good - never once been disappointed and they remember us every time we call. Highly recommend. I like to order extra items for later in the week because they are a great value - and their salads are the best - super fresh, clean, crisp, and Large! One of their Caesar Salads is at least two lunch salads for me to take to work later in the week, so super convenient. FYI - if you haven't tried them, Do...you will love them... (I only wish they also made soup - because I bet it would be great if they...

Job had catering from here so I wanted to try it again on a day off. Plus cause all of the good reviews I thought I would give it a try.

I ordered wings, burgers and upgraded my fries to cheese fries all through the website. The website was fairly easy to use and my order was ready in the time it said. The woman at the front counter didn't greet me, nor acknowledged me. She just looked really bored. But that's okay, I'm here for the food. So, I picked up my order and left and honestly the only thing good in my order was the wings.

The burger was a big burger, but that really was it. The meat was unseasoned and barely had any taste on it. My buns were completely burnt to an unedible way (please see attached pictures) and the cheese on the cheese fries tasted cold and synthetic like processed can cheese and it made me feel sick.

Overall, wasn't worth the money nor the hype. I might go again for the wings or maybe I would just stick to...

Apparently this place has been here for 5 years and I thought it was new. I ordered six spicy sweet Korean wings and six original hot and they were both delicious. She fried them up right then and there so they were definitely freshly cooked. She is Korean and had a few Korean-inspired menu options, so I asked if she had any kimchi around. She said she had a little bit but it was pretty fermented and I might not like it because it might be too sour. She gave me a little sample and a little bit of rice to eat it with and it was delicious. Very good service, very friendly owner and the wings are great. I love that it is so close to my house. My favorite wing flavor is spicy garlic from Buffalo wild wings but there's plenty of good options at this place too. I recommend you give it a try. I got mine to go but there are a couple of tables and they have a few menu items in the shop that they don't have on their little paper...
