If you don't use a smartphone but want to get a haircut here, you are 100% screwed! I came in at 2:45 PM on a Sunday--not the busiest time, right? Four barber chairs were occupied, but there was no one in the waiting area. Pretty cool. My wife was with me, not getting a cut, but I was glad she wouldn't have to wait long for mine. At fifty-three years of age now, my vanishing hair doesn't require much service for the little that remains. I'm quick, easy revenue. A Great Clips barber took my name and phone number right away, and I looked forward to being next. Then, three different people came in at varying times after me. Each was ushered to a barber chair before me. No one cared in the slightest that I was there and waiting earlier. Apparently having a smartphone gives people a chance to cut. What about senior citizens who never use these devices? Are they all treated with the same disregard? I have served twenty years in the Navy. This is the first time I have had a business establishment in my own country treat me like a second class citizen. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, before a fourth person could be invited by Great Clips staff to cut in front of me, making my wife and I wait even longer, we arose and left. I am really disappointed in the thoughtless, uncaring way I was treated by both my fellow customers and the staff. FOLLOWUP: Oh, I understand now that is your policy. At another Great Clips location I made a reservation by smartphone, arrived 20-30 minutes later, and was seated before a lobby full of people that had been waiting. Your policy worked like a charm. I don't think that Mom who had brought in her two young boys for the first time and was still filling out information for your database thought too much of your policy either. You never get a second chance to make a first impression, you know. I stand by my review. Great Clips is fine as long as you don't mind waiting at a store as people who arrive after you get seated before you. If you don't make a smartphone reservation, Great Clips gives you coach...
Read moreI have been using this Great Clips for several years and had decent service. Today I signed in online with 40-50minute wait I had just enough time to get it done so I got ready and walked in with 8min remaining. They checked me in after another person who didn’t sign in online. Then took someone a couple behind me since they walked through the door first. The next person took the person directly ahead of me but walked in after, next the person who signed in when they arrived. That’s when I walked out my time was up. They said why? You’re next but I’d been next most of the time I’d been in there 40ish minutes. To the owner if you want to fix this require a standard order either online or when you walk through the door and stick with it. The problem was one stylist was choosing by who came through the door first the other went by first on the list. The person in front of me forgot and was late so they showed up after I was skipped for the person who was below me on the list but walked in first then that 1st name showed up so they took him next. Then I was first on the list but the lady who signed in when I walked in got chosen. Not consistent at all. This was Hendrix...

She just went in and I said hold up I wanted a modern mullet and she was questioning it and still continued to cut and it is soooo uneven and higher than I wanted … i understand babies are hard to get hair cuts but she was just trying to get it over with it and rushed it (which obviously scared my baby) afterwards she took the cape off and said okay done … mind u my baby and I had hair everywhere even on his face she was just pushy everyone was saying he’s cute and she mockingly said “yaaa he’s trying to grow a mullet” and laughed so I just left and paid… and yes I did leave customer service a vm after my crash out and next time I will rather drive 50 mins just to cut his hair … 1st photo is what we had yesterday and 2nd is his last hair cut when he was 12 months...
