San Jose Express — Restaurant in South Carolina

I will never go here again. We have eaten inside and ordered online quite a few times. The bald guy with glasses that works there is an idiot! He yelled at me for asking for a to go tray and going to their toppings bar for tacos and filling up a tray. I gave a 5 dollar tip on top of the 33 dollars I paid for the tacos mind you! He then tells me the toppings are there only for guests! Who the heck am I then? I paid you for the food and tipped you and you're going to tell me I am not a guest there and I cannot take toppings to go? For the record I ordered it to go because my son is sick and we didn't want him sitting inside disturbing the other guests! You're going to tell me I'm wrong for taking toppings now! Plus I rent a spot from your boat dock from the owner! I hope this guy gets disciplined and you offer me a refund! The salsa he put in there that's too spicy for my kids dumped all in the bag and on the food but I didn't complain or come back asking for a refund. Feel free to reprimand this guy but also know this! I will never go here again with some...

We ordered from San Jose Express several weeks ago while I was recuperating from surgery. We were pleasantly surprised at our order. We both ordered Chori-Pollo (chorizo sausage and chicken, covered in cheese sauce). It came in a large 10” foil container, a decent sized serving. Along with a large side of Spanish rice (included in the large container), we also got lettuce, tomato and sour cream. The lettuce, tomato, and sour cream were in a separate container, which I really appreciate. Each of us got a large bag of tortilla chips, and there was a decent sized cup of salsa provided.

We have ordered for pick up a few times as well, and whenever we go in, the place is always busy…but it only takes 10 minutes to get your order. They take the term...

Make sure you always look at your kids receipts! 4 Grilled chicken tacos $15, add shrimp, they charge 4.50 EACH to add shrimp on top of the $15 you've already spent for the grilled chicken tacos, plus charging you to place an order to go! Tried to call and ask what the price was for the items over the phone and the guy was rude and hung up! Went to the location and tried talking with them in person. The young guy was trying to tell me he made a mistake, while the older guy was speaking in Spanish telling him no, no. I asked him to speak English and he tried telling me what would have been cheaper. I told him no need in telling me that now after they have the money. That would have been better while the order was being placed. I'll go to El Jimador...
