Staff today was rude.I left the pool at 5:30 turned hot tub on 15 mins.My 15 mins was about up when it come over intercom that they will be closing in 15 mins.Ok thanks for letting us know.Then not even a 5 mins later the lady came to hot tub we will be closing soon.I said ok my time is about up.I got in shower about 12 mins til took fast shower was dressing as fast as I could she said we're closing soon I said I know I'm dressing as fast as I can.Ok I look at clock on my way out of locker room it's now 6 mins til looking for my husband.Lady again came to me you need to be heading up.I said I'm looking for my husband.Then my kids said he's already at top.So I went upstairs.About 2 mins til we walked out.Here is my point when I worked at a gas station we closed at 10:00 pm We cleaned ect after closing.If you intend for everyone to be out around 15 til you need to actually say the YMCA closes at 5:45.I have a bad back and I felt so pushed took all the fun right out if our trip to the YMCA.I had all intentions on being out of the y by 6.I understand your ready to go at closing.But if closing time is 6 then people plan to walk out the doors at 6.Other than that the YMCA was very clean everyone else was super nice and we enjoyed our visit til...

(Read update below for 3 star rating) Not like it used to be. I went to this Y years ago as a young girl with my mom, and had many good memories there. Now, coming back into town and visiting it as a young adult, the staff was condescendingly rude, they charged us full price to use the vicinities (we only use the pools because of health issues) the pool is closed for renovation, which is fine, but they lied about the spa being in good shape to use, it wasn’t. The water was LUKEWARM, the jets weren’t even working, and the women’s sauna was not working either. Not happy whatsoever seeing this Y in the shape it’s currently in now. Do better for your guests please.

Update to 3 star: We decided to give it a chance again, and went back. It was MUCH better, the pool looked cleaner, definitely upgraded, the hot tub was actually warm, and the jets felt so good! The only problem this time was getting the “silver sneaker” program shoved in our faces, and we aren’t even part of that program nor do we want to be. The front desk assistant either didn’t understand us, or didn’t have the patience to. Other than that, we will be going back, and hope it’s a 4 star visit next time! Only time will tell on our next visit...

The pool area is great. It's warm, clean, and peaceful. The lifeguards were wonderful and the music was amazing. The female locker room, however, is bad. The jacuzzi has been down on and off for months, there's peeling paint in it, and the 1st step into is dangerous for people with joint issues who need to sit in the hot water after a workout. I daresay it is an 8-10 drop. There is a gross filthy container sitting on the tile floor, just unclean looking all around. I'm very disappointed. Unfortunately, if you have severe joint issues and need water therapy, your choices in winter for pools are limited. So, I will go back to the Y and just sit in the pool area until Im dry and leave. The people working here from the front desk down to the workout rooms and pool are all very professional and polite...
