I have never been a “girly girl”. I was raised in the hollers of Eastern Kentucky and never took the time to learn how to “match” or “accessorize”. Leeann at Queen Bee has helped me match for family photos, Keeneland and work. She has helped me pick out nail polish colors and recommended the best nail salons. She has taken the time hear my vision and has always been extremely kind. Most recently I walked into Queen bee wearing a black dress and brown boots. I was on my way to Keenland for an industry meeting in the Phoenix room and I wanted to add something nice to my outfit. Leeann was there and we were looking at charms and scarves when I noticed the cutest brown dress with roses. I needed up wearing it out of the store. I have been given so many compliments on the dress. Plus I plan to wear it for our family fall photos. Is it more expensive? Yes, but you get a tailored experience. You get caring and sweet service. I love this place and will always ask...

Disappointment would be the word... I was really thrown off by the way I was greeted and WATCHED at this boutique. I was born and raised in KY. I was home to assist my mom after her recent surgery... The night before I left I ran over to buy some gifts before returning to Colorado. After feeling uncomfortable for about 5 minutes it occurred to me MY APPEARANCE! I was being treated in a very unwelcoming way because of my appearance. It's important to note that you should NEVER judge anyone in that way...as said in the movie Pretty Woman... "Big Mistake-HUGE" had I been greeted in welcoming manner I would have purchased many little gifts to drag back to Colorado with me, but my money was better spent in the next store. This isn't the Kentucky way......

Cute stuff but most of it is way overpriced and this being our third time in to buy gifts for my MIL my husband made the comment to me that we have never been told "Thanks" or "come back" etc when we are checking out. The employees are always talking to each other about their weekend plans and don't care to acknowledge that you just dropped $100 on 2 t-shirts. I was going to add a $100 gift card to my order but once she didn't make eye contact I decided to buy that g.c elsewhere. Like I said, cute merch but employee training on friendliness...
