Bumble Bites at Palomar — Restaurant in Lexington

We had the strangest experience at this location. My partner went in to get a drink while I waited in the car. A large black SUV pulled up SO close to our SUV that I filmed the man getting out to ensure he didn’t hit our car. Come to find out, it was the owners of this establishment. I thought MAYBE it’s super cramped on the other side and he had no choice. Nope. There were ZERO cars in the next 3 spots. My partner stood there with the DRINK HE JUST PURCHASED FROM THEIR STORE as the owner unloaded his truck. My partner asked if he was serious and the man said he would move his truck when he was done. Never had a bad experience at Bumble Bites and their new location lived up to that standard! Their drinks are super refreshing, sweet, and flavorful. We got the peach fruit tea and honey tea and they were both amazing. Not to mention, the store front itself is very aesthetic and clean. The staff is also very friendly and helpful when you order or they have 3 spectate kiosks to order at if you wish to browse the menu with pictures. Has to be one of, if not the absolute best, bubble tea place in Kentucky. I get a bit particular with appreciating the nuance it takes to do a good bubble tea because I’ve had them in many places around the world. The black and green brewed teas were very clean tasting, non-chemical, and spot-on steeping strength. Boba was fantastic, fresh and perfect texture.
