Apparently this place has an agreement with Scout next door to ignore people of color. I had never been in this store before but a friend recommended I go there as I am in the market for a specific piece of furniture. I was never acknowledged when I entered the store (stared at) like the dozen or so people who came in after me. Needless to say, if I had I found what I was looking for I would not have bought it. It might just be paranoid but I think they have a problem with serving people of color. They don't need to worry I will not do business with them. Read moreI was in Kentucky house hunting and of all the many antique stores, home decorating stores, consignment stores and thrift shops I checked out THIS store was the most impressive I went to. I love nice furniture and cheap prices and this store has both. Gorgeous sofas for $395, armchairs, a pair for $295, a huge elaborate sideboard for $750. I was walking around amazed at what a beautiful selection they had and the incredible prices. They did tell me they do not deliver but provide a list of movers to call. Visited there and found a beautiful stool we liked but, wanted to make sure before we purchased it as we lived out of state. Took a picture of it, called two days later and emailed the photo.
