Yes! Yes! A million times yes! I am going to be sore tomorrow from using a sledge hammer but it was worth it! We took our kids to celebrate their 15th birthdays and it was better than I imagined it would be. We destroyed things for 45 minutes, that doesn't sound like a long period of time but you will be worn out well before the clock runs out! You don't even have to be angry, there is just something so therapeutic about breaking things. I'll admit that it took me a few minutes to accept the fact that I could destroy things, but once I got past that, nothing was safe. The staff was awesome and very accommodating, it was a very laid back friendly environment. We will definitely be back sooner than later especially with all of the additions they have coming. 12/10 totally recommend!!
Helpful hints: wear shoes with hard bottoms, work boots probably would be best. We had tennis shoes on but did find that glass easily got stuck in the bottoms so we had to do a shoe check before leaving to make sure we weren't tracking around glass. The glass never went all the way through our shoes. You are pretty much covered head to toe but shattered glass will always find bare skin. The earmuffs helped to protect our ears from glass, but small exposed areas of our necks occasion would get hit with a ricochet of breakage (plastic and glass, we were never hurt, just pinged). May be a good idea to wear a bandana around the neck or gaiter. You're gonna sweat no matter what so one piece of cloth isn't going to make you too much hotter! Best experience I've had...
Read more0 customer service. I accidentally booked for Friday when I meant Thursday. I noticed the mistake a few hours after I booked and tried to call. (couldn’t find a phone number or any contact information on the website and had to Google it) I got a recorded message that was a machine stating the phone number that I called which made me think it was the wrong number so I hung up. There was nothing to indicate it was a business phone number. It just sounded like a robot telling me I had the wrong number. I then found their phone number here on Facebook and called it back and waited a little longer and got a voicemail. I left a voicemail with my phone number to see what I can do to change the booking to maybe Thursday or Saturday. Friday was not good because this was for my niece who was going to be out of town on Friday. It is now Saturday and I still got no response from them at all whatsoever. I feel like I just threw away $60 for a simple mistake and they have zero customer service to help anybody who makes the...
Read moreWe heard about this place on the local news, and, having previously visited a similar one in Louisville, wanted to try this one out.
First off, the staff was very professional. Tony and Samantha were great and very helpful when walking us through the safety protocols and explaining the rules to us before letting us loose to destroy two rooms full of glass, ceramic, and dead electronic objects.
There's a variety of destructive instruments available and protective equipment--the one suggestion I might make to improve it is to either get full arm length protective gear, or just to make sure that you wear long sleeves and pants in addition to the equipment they give you. The facegear is very easy to see in compared with most places I've been.
Bonus: if it's in the room when you're there and it's not broken enough after a previous client, you're welcome to break it some more. (We definitely did!) Recommend the couples therapy package for 2 people.
Had a blast today and we will...
