My kids and I absolutely love Target. We love it. The makeup selection, toys, home goods, etc. are always great. However, if you are looking for the latest style in clothes or something in particular this is not the place to shop. Target needs to do better when it comes to trendy clothes! This would make the experience great. What clothes they do have are overpriced. I can go to Abercrombie and buy shirts that are almost identical to those at Target for the same price, but better quality and prettier. I feel like Target doesnât really even follow trends, they kinda have their own style and itâs definitely not for me and mine. Target is also a store that you can not shop at and get out of quickly. The lines are always too long for the amount of cashiers and self checkouts that are available. It seems to always be chaotic. Many times I have drove hours away to buy something in particular, just to be disappointed bc it is out of stock. Every Target I have ever shopped at is always a mess. Regardless, I can say their employees, except for a select few are always wonderful. I have always met and spoke with several employees at Target that are kind and willing to do their job. Of course there has been one or two that have had bad attitudes or seem to rather be elsewhere, but we all have those days. With all this said. We Love Target, but would love to see a better selection in a few departments and better checkout times. Hope this helps. Best...
Read moreWalking in the aroma of fresh coffee lingered in the air. Having craving coffee all day I was super excited to see a barista behind the Starbucks counter. âHey are yâall open?!â I asked âugh yeaâ she groaned. The dread in her voice was so apparent it made me laugh. Funny thing is four other people walked up to place an order to. đ My White Chocolate Mocha was great and hit the spot! After shopping for a bit I had to visit the potty..... While I was using the bathroom an employee knocked on the door like three different times. I knew it was an employee because I could hear their radio goin off. I could tell they wanted me to hurry so they could check off the âclean the bathroomâ box on their todo list. During my visit I came in contact with several employees and not one of them smiled, greeted me, nothing well the one guy bout ran over me with his big buggy thingy lol âI said oops sorryâ and got outta his way. He kept plowing down the isle doin his thang. While ringing my stuff out at the self checkout I changed my mind on an item. The lady came over and she was so sweet, friendly and helped me right away! I noticed she was super friendly to her fellow employees and that was awesome to. đđ»đ I have worked retail for years and still do today. Yâall a little friendliness goes a looong way. I love Target and shop there every chance I get (we donât have one where I live) I know the holidays are stressful but at least smile and your...
Read moreI recently moved from the Hamburg area in Lexington to Nicholasville. Obviously the target located on Reynolds rd is more convenient for me now. Unfortunately I could not be more disappointed after making a few trips there recently. I never thought Iâd want to avoid a target....I have shopped at targets for years in many different cities. But I will not return to that particular target and will most likely make the 30-40 minute drive back to Hamburg. The store is mostly empty, very disorganized, and messy. I have never seen a target with such little selection...I couldnât even find a wastebasket that we went to purchase after we moved to our new home. I had to make a detour to Walmart. The clothing section is very hard to navigate and is often littered with clothing and shoes strewn all over the floor. The layout of the store does not have a smooth flow and the âremodelâ that was evidently done has not improved the interior feel at all. I found trash on the shelves (empty styrofoam cups and food containers) while trying to sift through disorganized bath towels yet the workers were right there seeing the same trash and doing nothing about it. Again, I never thought Iâd be disappointed in a target...itâs been my store of choice for years. But my hope is that management will realize the need for some commitment to âstraightening things upâ or the store will continue to lose customers...I am...
