Worst outback experience of all time! What a rip off. Was looking forward to eating here all day since I'm new to town but this has to be the worst outback location in the national franchise!!! Did curbside. The ordering process was extensive. The representative had me repeat the information three times because each time she got some part of the order wrong. They said it would be 15 minutes it turned out to be 40 minutes I had to call the store twice because I'm sending out in the parking lot and it just occurs to me that nobody is bringing any orders out to people. Finally on the second call they say my orders ready they bring it out and the girl is so arrogant. She asked me do I want a new blooming onion and I say no not if this one is edible and it's still warm. I felt it and it was warm but I should have looked at it because I had ordered it well done and that blooming onion was raw and it has sat so long that all the moisture had condensed down and flatten the onion it was warm cuz it had been sitting under some light but I ended up throwing it out cuz it wasn't edible. Breaks my heart to spend my hard-earned money on people who don't deliver what they promise but more importantly it's sad to see what once was a good chain just totally miss the mark. At this rate they'll be closed after the holidays. It's right next to a PF Chang's and 200 yards down from a cheesecake factory and both of those are always very...
Read moreI’ve had great experiences with Outback in the past in Louisville and other cites, but I ordered takeout from Outback on Nicholasville Rd in Lexington recently and was extremely disappointed in my steak. My favorite cut is a Ribeye (medium rare) and I very rarely leave steak (or “fat”) leftover on my plate. The steak I received was extremely tough and some parts were inedible. The pieces in the picture (about 1/3 of my ribeye) were so tough that I couldn’t chew them. I ended up getting A1 steak sauce to help me eat the part that was edible (by edible, I mean the limited pieces of steak that were able to be chewed) since it seemed like no seasoning ever came near my steak for some reason. The baked potato came with the least amount of butter, sour cream, bacon, and cheese possible (butter and sour cream even shared a 2 ounce togo ramekin). If I was at the restaurant or within a couple miles, I would have sent it back. I used to work in the restaurant industry and have empathy for the workers. I don’t complain a lot and hardly ever send food back, but this quality was extremely poor… especially for Outback standards. The only reason I am giving 2 stars, is because they actually put everything in the bag, though most ingredients in ramekins were puny. Definitely not worth the money. I’ll stick to cooking...
Read moreThis was by far one of the best dinners my husband and I have had at an Outback in a long time. We sat at the bar since it was an hour to closing, but we drove all day and were starving, so thankful they were still open after 8 pm on a Sunday. The bartender Kiyanna was brilliant! She was really sweet and funny and kept us happy the whole time we were there! She was also tending to other patrons and never stopped moving. The food was SUBLIME, and so was our service!!!
The only minor complaint I have, which does not affect the star rating, was dessert. I ordered the caramel cookie thing to go, and when I got back to my hotel to eat it, I realized the cookie was RAW 😭😭😭 so no dessert for me, lol. I'm absolutely positive it was because it was so close to closing time, so I let it go. It was less than 10 dollars anyways and I plan on eating here often so I didn't bother complaining. I'm only mentioning it here so everyone knows to just double check and make sure the cookie is baked enough so you don't get sick over a cookie ❤️
I definitely highly recommend checking this location out. They're right next to the mall, basically connected to it, in Lexington. Great staff, great food,...
