DO NOT GO TO SPALON!!! I went to spalon for the first time last Thursday. I needed to get my eyebrows done and I heard good thing about this place so I thought I would give it a try. They were not very friendly to start with because I didn't have an appointment. I told them I only needed to get my eyebrows done and she said she could get me in. Once we got to her station she started to prepare the wax and I told her I wanted to get them plucked. She was not very happy with MY DECISION but said she would do it. As her words before starting " it is going to hurt". I knew that plucking my eyebrows was not a walk to the park. I done it before but she made sure that her words came true. It went on to be 20 minutes of plucking not only my hair but also my skin. When she was done it was not what I expected but I was not about to sit on that chair again. I looked at the mirror to see the final product and my eyebrows were red what is not unusual. The next morning I wake up with scabs all over my eyebrows and also some spots with pus. It's been a couple days and I still have several scabs in the area. If she did not wanted to pluck my eyebrows she should have let me know I would have found someone who would do the job without hurting me. DO NOT GO TO SPALON IF YOU WANT TO GET DONE THINGS...

I decided to try them out, and I won't be returning. I paid more than I would have for other salons in the area, but the results were sub par. I have curly hair which I keep in long layers. It's an easy cut, and they did okay with the cut (though far from the best I have had). What got me was the styling. When she was done styling my hair I was embarrassed to leave the salon. My hair was a frizzy poof with no shape. I went there hoping to get good suggestions for how to make my hair less frizzy, but I left with my hair the frizziest it has ever been. I had an appointment today with Sam and Stefanie! I loved walking into the salon where the staff are very friendly and greet you at the door. Sam really listens to your needs and wants and nailed the color and cut! My hair looks amazing! Stefanie then did my facial. It was so relaxing and my skin is so soft! It was worth the 3 hour drive!
