BBQ & Brews; let's start with the latter. The place does have ambiance and a typical brewhouse decor. Yes they have beer (and mixed drinks), but the draft "selection" amounts to only 14 or so common grocery store brands with honest pricing. And the Only beer list is one quickly read by your server. IMHO the best beer was advertised on a huge neon wall sign, but not an option. Food - we ordered popcorn shrimp and coleslaw w/ onion rings as a side (my wife doesn't like BBQ 😳) and a pulled pork sandwich w/ BBQ baked beans. The shrimp were ok. The slaw was tinier than pictured on the menu, and the server told us this in advance; one bite and we knew why. The onion rings were crispy but overdone in old oil and too salty. The pulled pork sandwich had ample tender (BBQ'd?) meat, but was hit so hard w/ table salt in the kitchen that it obscured the flavor and crunched when eaten. This salt use is a cheap method we used to employ in shot-and-beer joints to sell more drinks. The "baked" beans were very similar to canned w/ BBQ sauce added to make them even soupier. Kudos to the server for offering a non-provided spoon to eat them with. The 2 stars are for a nice clean place and good service. Maybe it's just the way Brew and BBQ is done in this area. I would recommend passing on this establishment for food and/or draft...

We had a great experience at Brick House! We are from the Kansas City area so we definitely know good BBQ. I wouldn't say this ranks as high as our favorite places back home, but you can still get a good plate of BBQ here. We tried the pulled pork grilled cheese, the smoked bologna, ribs, and burnt end sandwich. Of these items, I think we would order the ribs and the burnt ends again but probably not the grilled cheese or bologna. The latter items didn't have as much flavor as we would have expected.

One item you can't miss - the extra hot bbq sauce! You have to ask for it and it lives up to it's name; it is hot! But oh my goodness, the flavor is incredible! I don't love super spicy things but this sauce was worth the burn to me since the flavor was so good.

If / when we go back, we want to try the fries and the donuts. We saw other people order them and they looked delicious. (We had the beans and Mac and cheese. Both were okay...the mac and cheese was pretty gloppy and the beans were good, but not anything out of...

This was an unexpected delight! My husband is an avid griller, but we enjoyed a night out for dinner splurging on some of our favorite foods for a change. The ribs were dry-rubbed flavored, tender, fall-off-the bone delicious. The pulled pork was well seasoned and really good with or without their bbq sauce, and the polish sausage was delicious. The burnt-ends were a little too smokey and saucy for our preference...but others may like it that way. We also had fried pickle spears for an appetizer-we like that so much more than the typical pickle chips. The batter was so crispy and the side of ranch dressing was the perfect touch. I always love the option for sweet potato fries and the side dish of potato salad my husband had was worth mentioning as well. Our server was very sweet and accommodating and the drinks were big and cold! Such a great experience, we will...

Ok, this was our first time to dine here, and overall it wasn't a very pleasant experience, we arrived at 7 pm. Waitress took our order, our drinks took maybe 5 minutes and appetizer of cheese curds maybe 10 minutes - fairly quick on the bartenders behalf and the appetizer was delicious. But then at 7:29 the waitress came back to tell us they ran out of chicken, so we had to change our choice of meat, then the food finally arrived at 7:58 pm. We ended up with the polish sausage and brisket, it was decent. Brisket a tad dry but not bad. Food was good but nothing to be thrilled about and the waitress was nice but the wait time was the killer here. An hour to get our dinner was disappointing to say the least especially for our first time dining here and it really didn't seem all that busy.

We were in town over night and stopped in to grab some dinner. The staff was attentive and friendly. We ordered our meals to go. We didn't think about it at the time but didn't ask for any sauce. But not really a problem as the meat was pretty good on its own. While i liked my brisket sandwich, I really wished I'd gotten the burnt ends sandwich. I stole a piece 😁 and wow. I had the slaw as a side and was creamy and tangy, just the way I like it. BBQ baked beans were also really good. Really good experience. If I ever make it back this way, I'll be back for more! Side note: While waiting I saw a server come out with a massive basket of onion rings that looked fantastic....🤤

My sister and I were in town and decided to stop by and have some dinner here. We ordered the onion ring appetizer and they were fantastic. I’m a huge fan of beer-battered onion rings and both of us agreed that these were some of the best we’ve had. I ordered the three meat combo with burnt ends, sausage, and ribs along with fried okra and the BBQ beans as my sides. I was very pleased with all of my choices. I ordered the okra extra crispy and it did not disappoint. The burnt ends were perfect, the ribs were delicious, but in my opinion the sausage was the star. The perfectly charred skin gave it that nice “snap” and the flavor was spot on.
