This last Saturday my fiancé and I recently made a purchase of a wood log bed frame (which we have been on the hunt for a year) we have tried everywhere.. They are either not the right size or extremely expensive. We were so fortunate to find our dream bed frame , a taxidermy piece, and a gorgeous large vintage cabinet. We have been frequent flyers at Consign Furniture. We've purchased a stained glass lamp, a few other taxidermy pieces, and some small furniture pieces at different times in the past. Every visit, even when we didn't purchase something the customer service was incredible. Always so kind and helpful. We ran into a few hiccups for this last purchase and Michael Jenicek handled each one perfectly and efficiently. First issue: We purchased the bed frame and taxidermy Elk mount but needed a different vehicle to be able to transport them home. He told us we could pick them up tomorrow or before they close. We decided to come back that day. We are driving home and I realized the receipt said California King bed frame but I thought the tag in store said king. I called Michael and informed him that if the frame was indeed a California king that would not work for us. He said he would run to the back and measure it to make sure it was a king bed frame and give me a call immediately. He called back sooner than I expected, 15 mins after we had gotten off the phone. I had stepped away from my phone so I missed both of his calls! When I called back he informed me it was indeed a king size bed frame not a California king. He apologized for any inconvenience. I wasn't upset just sad that it may not work out. I appreciate the speedy response time. We arrived an hour before closing and decided to take another look around and we found something else. The large vintage cabinet. Realized it would not only be bad for our backs but also a huge pain to haul this back to our home. We work long hours during the week so delivering wouldn't work during the week. He was so accommodating and was able to work us into the delivery schedule for the very next day! It was lucky that the last delivery on Sunday was in the area where we were located. So he added us onto the schedule. We proceeded to leave the store to drive around to their loading area. We pull up and the employees where so nice and helpful loading the bed frame. Then another issue arises: We then tried to fit the elk mount but there was no way it was too large. Michael handled it with grace adding it to our delivery for tomorrow. Thank you to the delivery guys! They were so respectful and nice. Thank you for saving our backs! Tip your delivery guys!
I know my story is long but this reflects what a great company this place is. They offer both new and consigned items. The jewelry selection is so unique and great! So many vintage gems and new beauties. There are items for all kinds of budgets with that said go visit their store and make sure to walk around the entire building because the variety is extensive! Every time we visit there is always something new.

Read moreWe ordered our couch and loveseat through Omnia leather 3/4/2021and it was made and received 9/15/202. Estimated to be 14 weeks for delivery, I understand covid played a part in the process. However after having them delivered and put together it was great. After using them for only 4 months as of now, the padding on the foot rest is thinned a bit and it feels like I'm resting my ankles on wood covered in leather (I am short and cannot reach the floor when sitting upright fully in this couch/loveseat combo). My husband has no issue with this though. They do tend to move around a bit when being sat in we have to reposition the couches quite a bit. The plugs and buttons are on the inside of the couch arm which is very inconvenient/bad engineering, and it would be better if they were on the outside. We got the removable arm rest consoles for cup holders and they are amazing. When sitting on our 3 seater with the cup holder consoles for a few hours at a time it does make your elbows sensitive from pushing into them (on the arm of the couch more so than the cup holder console), probably has to do with my height just wanted to note this. The purchasing process was great and the product looks good. My least favorite part of the process was being told " it'll possibly be here by the end of the month" for several months. I understand that consign furniture staff only had the information provided to them by the manufacturer, and were going off of what information they had. I also understand that COVID did cause ambiguity. It was still tough not knowing when something was going to show up even though we were told from the begining that things were slowed down due to covid. We tend to travel a lot and wanted to ensure we would be present when the furniture was delivered, and didn't care really how long it took just would have liked to have been able to have a solid date to put in a calendar to ensure we'd be available for delivery. Read moreUpdate: I received a call from Mike, the General Manager. He was incredibly respectful and willing to talk through my frustrations with the renewal process. It turns out that they responded to my email within the hour and for some reason my email did not receive it. He explained that they don't always have enough staff available to answer phones if they are busy assisting customers in the store, which is understandable. After speaking with Mike I am happy to change my review to 5 stars. I was impressed with his professionalism and great customer service. I very much appreciate his willingness to work things out with me and will happily shop here again.
Consign Furniture requires consigners to call to renew contacts after 70 days. This is fine, it's a bit of a pain but I understand why they have this in their contract. The problem is that they are impossible to get ahold of to renew the contract. I have been attempting to contact them all week about a contract that is expiring soon. I want to renew the contract to make sure they don't take the item out from under me. I have sent 1 email, made 6 calls, left 1 voicemail and spoke with an assistant who said that the manager will call me back same day. The call never came. I live out of town and I'm frustrated that it looks like I will have to go their location in order to even speak with someone regarding a basic contract renewal. Considering the value of some of the items that people bring to them it seems crazy that they cannot answer the phone and threaten to claim the items for themselves if you can't reach them to renew.
