FYI: Long dissertation review.. don’t come for me lol..While at work I dropped my phone on the street which caused my screen to crack and made all my apps and pages go wild.. like AI took over…I had to cancel my shift because I use my phone for work.. thought I had AppleCare.. TUH..I found out the coverage was never transferred to my new phone and that coverage is model specific so I was supposed to cancel then purchase new coverage (No thanks to the idiots at MeroPCS when I succinctly asked about phone insurance..SMH!!) I supposedly have insurance via MetroPCS so decided to file a claim.. well after a brief chat, they wanted a $200 deductible.. I said ain’t no way in the heck I’m paying that when my phone has at least 4+ generations ahead of it.. so initially i was gonna just wipe the dust off my iPhone XR and go to MetroPCS to reactivate.. my son said nah.. that’s going backwards.. just find a repair shop and get it done.. fast forward I called around to different vendors and was still surprised at the cost to repair a cracked screen and the time it would take to repair (1-2hrs at one place) and all the blah blah blah about resetting the face enabling option..I was getting fed up and said I might as well buy a flip phone and call it a day.. which lead me to Cellgeon.. I spoke with Elijah initially while still shopping other vendors.. pondered upon what to do.. discussed with my son about the cost asking him was $75 reasonable and he agreed.. I called Elijah back and asked how long will it take to repair and could I come by.. he said 20 mins.. told him I wasn’t far from his shop and headed out.. when I arrived and presented my damage phone, Elijah was easy to talk with.. he answered my questions about the phone, why he got into this business and some of the clientele he services.. his shop carried a peaceful energy and I didn’t feel I was being taken advantaged of.. he even supplied a 3-month warranty on the repairs.. It was truly a great experience for something that caused a great amount of stress earlier..My phone is working perfectly and can now resume my daily routine.. Elijah was so nice and very quick to respond. I needed a last minute repair and he was able to fix it the same day with no problems. I needed a phone for my husband to use the gps as he was going out of town the same day and needed a temporary phone while his was getting fixed. He was able to work with me and Elijah was able to provide a loaner phone in the mean time while my husbands phone was getting fixed. He was so affordable and so very responsive. He provided snacks and drinks to my kids that he had in his office and made sure we were taken care of. He was able to come out to me in sandy springs but I chose to come to him due stuff I needed to do later. Husbands phone came out perfect like brand new as he fixed his screen which was cracked badly and LCD. Ear speaker on my Iphone 11 ProMax has been out for a while and in about 20 minutes Elijah got me back to new AND a new screen protector. I thought the screen would need to be replaced but it was just the protector. That's how much I know about a phone. The price was super fair and I learned a lot from him as he fixed it. Also this was totally worth driving 40 mins from my house instead of going to a nearby phone repair store.
