Worst experience i have ever had with a service department, (heck any service). Made an appointment with Capitol Ford Sevice Dept. Of Lillington. Called the week before, sometime around August 20th, 2025 Told them the issues I was having with my 2024 F250 with 3000 miles on it. 3 issues in total plus first oil change. They said no problem and made an appointment for the following week August 26th 2025. I was told at that time it would take a couple of days. Because I don't like using a drop box to leave a vehicle I took it around 3:30 pm the August 25th to drop it off and possibly talk to a service tech. When requested I wasn't told no but instead the person at the turn in desk would write it all down. One of the problems was complicated to explain and knew I could find common ground with a tech and get close to getting them on point. Fist time ever going here to do business and when I got there pulled up to the service area parked at the entrance and stood there ignored by the staff even though they were coming in and out to deal with other cars ( just figured they were busy) for at least 20 minutes before my ride got there to pick me up. We decided to walk in and get someone, the lady at desk seemed nice and attentive. I had fitted my key with a tag with my name number and truck info. I was told to call or text to get updates on the truck. I didn't know at this time that getting someone to call you back would be impossible and when I did it would be lies. The first whole day it was there August 26th I didn't try to contact them I knew it would take some time to get into the problems. The next day the 27th I was contacted by text at 8:38 am " good morning our technician has not told us anything yet on the truck, I will check with him later to see if he has anything for us".. After not hearing anything by 12:00 noon i was concerned. Again they said it would take a couple of days to get it fixed. I thought they may have run into something more serious. Started calling left messages 2, an hour or so apart. So I texted at 2:54 pm for an update and got this response, "He hasn't said anything yet. I have asked. He's at the other building". At 5: 21 pm i called back and left a message on the service managers voice mail but the front desk acted kind of hesitant to let me do so. After escalation to him I expected contact to update me on what was going on? Nope, another day no info. The next day the 28th, no contact. Around 11:00 am my wife and son stopped by to try to actually get something out of this place. They went in to get a status on our truck that we dropped off on Monday the 25th. Was told I don't see any updates in the system. She said let me send the technician a note. They stood there another 10 minutes and my wife asked her (after the service lady helped two more customers), any updates yet? She told my wife the tech didn't respond, so the service lady contacted the service manger to go get an update for her. My wife and son waited another 10 or 15 minutes and in the meantime asked had they at least changed the oil. She looked in the system and said it doesn't look like it. After not hearing anything from the service manager the service lady went back into the service dept herself. She came back in a minute or two and she said the tech told her he would have an update after lunch, (meanwhile at this point after the length of time my wife and son had been there it was almost lunch.) So she asked her what time they considered lunch? She looked at her computer and said he has to go to lunch so give him till 3:00 pm. So my wife stepped outside to call me and said there were no updates in the system and I said does that mean they haven't worked on anything so they could give us a partial update? She told me she had asked about the oil change and they had told her nothing was in the system. At that point I said if it's in one piece and it can leave there to get it and leave. My wife went back in and told them I said if the truck was in one piece to bring it home. She got the key. They never...
Read moreWent today 5/3/25 to look at a vehicle my husband was very interested in. Mind you this is our 3rd delership with a 4 yr old in tow, the other two in Raleigh where no one even spoke to us nor approached us. Anyways, here I stood at the vehicle in this location, looking directly at 5 sales persons as they sat on picnic tables (facing the car lot) all chatting away. I then proceed to enter the establishment where someone then follows me tries to greet me and I said "I want someone who would like to sell a car and doesn't just ignore me." He went back to get someone and i waited, it took awhile so i then walked out, my husband and I had a conversation where a female employee walked into (middle of conversation)as i was telling him (with some explicits) how they are acting as a sales professional is unacceptable and wild. Remember we are outside during this conversation. He does his test drive anyways, and I was willing to overlook the issue prior because the female was very nice. She even stated that the men outside were "awkward" and didn't like to approach people anyways. Weird job to have seeing that's 100 percent of your job, but whatever. The man who followed me in approached my husband and APOLOGIZED for ignoring me, saying thst wasn't his intention. Apologized to my husband not to me mind you, but a apology admits wrong doing. Anyways...We try to make a deal it doesn't work but we try to make a point and they are just not willing to budge so I said, good luck at selling this vehicle. Meanwhile the General Manager walks over says the same thing that they will lose money on this vehicle and I again said and good luck selling this vehicle. I said as I walked out "maybe teach your sales persons how to sale." He walks outside after us, tells me "that i had been cussing INSIDE his establisment" (i hadnt i did outside in a private conversation with my husband) then the GM says "you had said you had trouble at other car lots (remember no one at the other car lots and i had a conversation), maybe you should look in the mirror " kid you not, a grown man's exact words to me a 35 yr old female trying to make a purchase at his establishment. A big purchase at that and not my first purchase at this location. My husband stepped in and said "we won't be talking like that, to not go there." I would NEVER recommend nor eill I EVER set foot near that establishment again! Shame on you sir, maybe you should look in a mirror and reevaluate your customer service skills and training of...
Read moreI was excited when I heard that Precision Ford had been bought by Capital Ford to became Capital Ford of Lillington. I figured it was time for the dealership to receive a much-needed facelift. An establishment geared toward bettering its environment while also providing the community with services most deserving of the Ford name.
I had the pleasure to work with the service department as I looked to have the air conditioning repaired on my vehicle. The repair cost me nearly one-thousand dollars and was worth the full amount. Instead of riding around in a car that struggled to provide cold air, Capital Ford has blessed me with the sweet joy of gazing upon a portal to hell, installed just feet away from my face, as I commute between destinations. An experience that would tempt even the most devout.
Another plus, for me, is the added convenience to my day-to-day responsibilities. In times past, eating in my vehicle was usually reserved for special occasions. However, now, due to my recent upgrade, I can now cook a fully frozen pizza in my passenger seat before I making it to the exit of my neighborhood. Making every drive, a special one. - Pepperoni is my favorite.
The best thing, in my opinion, is how easily it has become to achieve the "just left the gym" look I've been working so hard to accomplish. Nothing says, "I work out", like a sweaty brow and butt sweats soaking through one’s shorts. Thanks to the considerate members of the Capital Ford service department, I've got that look nailed down and noticed more people checking me out, which has severely improved my self-esteem.
I understand that not everyone can be as fortunate as I, while working with Capital Ford of Lillington. But, by installing the gates of hell in my dashboard and ridding their service department of their Full A/C Service Machine, I cannot help but feel extremely valued by Capital Ford. Even when other customers ask to have their air conditioning evaluated and/or serviced by other Capital Ford branches, Capital Ford of Lillington will simply laugh off the absurd request as a gesture of good faith as to not outshine their already stellar performance, which was my experience.
Thank again!
