Alter Ego Comics — Local services in Lima

It's a good comicbook shop. It has some flaws though. Sometimes you cant get certain items you add to your pull list. On release day they put out the variants sometimes and not the regular cover for extra money. And sometimes the comics on the stands are damaged or have bent covers, for example they had a comic that cover was bent to where you can see the first page. And also there back issue comics are kinda pricey, wish they still had the 1$ comics and wish I didnt have to wait a year to see the 1$ comics.

Overall that's all I have to say. I've been going to to shop for like 4 years and it's where I always got my comics.

(Edit) Bought a Deadpool issue for 7$ and it had mouse bites all on the back of the book, didn't know till I took it out the bag and board.

If you're in Lima and looking for a cool comic book shop to stop at then look no further than Alter Ego Comics! They have a decent selection of all the new comics out now and current trade releases too. Also if you're in the market for decently priced figures they have a wide selection too spending across both DC and marvel and everything in-between. Friendly staff and killer rewards perks! My only complaint and I get that floor space is an issue, but I wish they had more of there back issues out on the floor. I always loved digging through them when I could. Ordered two sets of collectibles a year ago. Both were pre-orders which were set to come out one and two months later. A few days ago, I received the final item which completed my order. I understand that things happen, dates are pushed back and it is possible to receive these products at a much later date. My issue with this company in particular is the lack of communication. I had emailed multiple times throughout the year only to receive unapologetic replies. I would have preferred to get updates from time to time about my order. Something like, "Hey, we haven't forgot about your order. There is a delay with the manufacturer and we will continue to keep in touch." However, I received nothing. I won't be ordering from them again. So...
