The food and classic cocktails are delicious. This is the only place I’ve found in Lima that serves a Negroni which was well made. I tried the pretzels with beer cheese, fried ravioli, and KO-Rail burger and was impressed with it all. The burger was super messy and I could have used a wet wipe (or just used my fork) but had amazing flavor. The place hasn’t even been open a month and there are still kinks to be worked out. Service was a little slow and while the inside has a great look, the vibe was off. It got better once the live music started but before that there was no music. They have a TouchTunes jukebox but we didn't see it until leaving. Still, it has the makings to be one of the best places in Lima and the food is already nailed down. Can’t wait to go back to try something else on the menu and see if those new restaurant kinks are ironed out.
UPDATE: Second time was even better! Got the Locomotive Burger, Potato Kegs, and a Boulevardier. Don’t think you’ll go wrong with any food or drink choice here! Plus our waitress was great with plenty of people...
Read moreWe've been before and the food was good, but the service was awful. This time neither food nor service were good (BLT with two slices of bacon and 3 slices of bread, a PB&J Burger delivered as a Philly Steak and Breaded Wings delivered as naked then recooked and not delivered until after the entrées, and an order of Spicy Cheese Cubes not even put in, then accused the kitchen of being at fault initially.) 3 of us dined in, and 4 of our orders were either wrong or not put in at all. Follow that with our appetizer coming after our entrées and our waitress rarely coming to the table. Management had nothing but excuses and zero apologies. I'm dissapointed to say the least. I truly enjoy supporting our local businesses, but not this time. Maybe under new management and with a competent wait staff we could come back...
Read moreWe were in from out of town and looking for food after 9pm. This was the only option that came without a side of extreme sketchiness. But we're glad we found it! The food was awesome. Their appetizers are crazy, I got the fried mac n cheese bites, best I've had. Get their sweet chili sauce and dip EVERYTHING in it, it'll blow your mind. Standard bar options with a few "gastropub" offerings thrown in, but the quality of food is way above average bar food. Mixed drinks were pretty cheap but made very well, their bartender lady (can't remember her name) is an excellent mixologist and the beer is priced OK. Next time we're in Lima we're...
