Dollar General — Local services in Lima

Lisa Brandt the “General Manager” at Dollar General N Cable Rd that has been there for 5 years….I had 3 12 packs of soda. 2 7-Up & 1 A&W Rootbeer. The add says 3 for $13 but with digital coupon 3 for $11. I also had a bottle of chocolate syrup for $3. She rang all 4 items up and the total was almost $24 😳 For what? Even IF my digital coupon didn’t work, it still wouldn’t be $24. Simple math right? She kept showing me the computer and said it took $10 and some change off. Ummmmm ok? But how is it $24? She couldn’t answer that and said that what’s the computer says 😆 Ma’am you are the GM and the math ain’t mathin. She said that I was trying to insult her intelligence. I had a picture of the sign and also the ad right in front of her. She tried to argue and say it’s for Pepsi products 😂 Again, YOU claim to be the GM and you can’t even do simple math or know what’s in your ad? I said well take off the syrup and remove my coupons and she did. Then she said my total was $36 😂 She walked away, went to another register to wait on the people behind us. Then came back and cussed and screamed at us saying she would manually entered it in and to never come back to that store! Like what? Said my wife was being a drama Queen 😂 Why? Because we can do simple math? I honestly don’t understand. I asked her name and she said you can read can’t you? Then I asked her last name and she said she didn’t have to tell me that. I also asked to take the ad with me and she snatched it out of my hand, crumbled it up in front of me and says, “no you can’t have it! The sale ends today” and threw it in the trash can! We then went to the DG on Jameson, bought the exact 3 items and didn’t enter ANY digital coupons and the total was $11.75 🤔 Yes I am going to call corporate but we all know that they can’t keep people as it is and nothing with happen. If I could give negative stars it would be. Went there at 9:30 and they were closed had a sign to wait and they would open@10 am so I waited when I walked back to the door at about 10:14 they still weren’t open. So I called and no answer. I continue to wait and a woman walks up to the door and yells at me for waiting there. I said that the sign said 10am and said “well go to a different store there’s 8 others in the area go somewhere else” extremely rude was yelling and cussing at me the whole time so I walked away. So while at your store today, they had all the sale signs hanging above the women's and children's clothing. So I was going to purchase something when it rang up regular price I said "No it was on the sale rack right outside the door." He said that's just " men's clothing."
