I went on Christmas day. I'm semi-handicapped and was looking for someone to bring the order to my car for curbside service. I saw this option on their website. When I called, I began with, "I'd like to place an order for curbside pickup." She said ok and took my order. She told me after I ordered that it would be an hour or more... well, ok. I get it. They were slammed due to the holiday. She took no more info, nor did she give me any direction on how to tell them when I'd arrived. Again, I just figured she was overwhelmed. So I waited. I called after an hour and asked. She said it was just being bagged up. I said great and that I would "pull up in about 1 minute." I was already out in the parking lot. I waited again. After another 5 minutes, I called and said that I was waiting for the curbside pickup. It was only then that she said they didn't offer that. Well, 1. It's on the website. 2. I've referred to it twice. So, with my bad legs, I did my best to go in. I had the money in my hand according to the prices on the website. I was almost 10 dollars short. I can add 10 plus 10 plus 3. Instead of 23, it was 38.00. Ok again. I'd eaten there before, so I figured it would be worth it. Sadly, that was the last thing that went wrong. Probably due to being so busy... the food was (sorry) terrible. Mushy, overcooked, a spicy dish with no spice, carrots I could mash with the plastic fork and pea pods with every string very tough and still attached. I've never left a review before. Please, fix the website. All this could have been avoided if that one thing had not...
Read moreAfter 18 years I have finally moved back home to Lima. I brought my Fiance back with me and he wanted some good Chinese food. I stated I always loved China Wok when I lived here but when visiting I always went somewhere else because my family that lives here preferred it (I won't provide the place on this review 😉). He said he wanted to try what I loved when I lived here. So, we went! Let me say, from the moment we walked in the gentleman (I didn't get his name but he has taken over ownership since when I lived here) greeted us as "My friend". He was extremely courteous, helpful, and definitely a great up-salesman lol. We ordered the lunch Shrimp & Broccoli with fried rice (all the fixins), Beef Lomein (all the fixins), and 2 pork egg rolls. Everything came out piping hot and DELICIOUS! You can tell when eating; love, passion, and GRIT was put in this food! I could taste, this new owner is proving himself and showing he KNOWS good flavors and what people want! He wasn't overbearing once the food was out but stayed attentive to our needs. I never eat inside because I prefer to eat at home and watching my shows lol. That day I'm so glad my love convinced me to stay and relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and our time together. I'm glad I got to show him a place that I loved and he loves it now too! Don't sleep...
Read moreThe customer service is wonderful! I unfortunately didn’t catch the man who helped us but he was so attentive & sweet! The flavoring of all the food was amazing! My husband got the general tso chicken & it was the best sauce I’ve ever tasted. As for the actual chicken, I’m not sure what part of the chicken was used but it just didn’t taste right. It was almost undercooked but it was cooked through. The texture was very weird. I got the lo mein with chicken beef & shrimp. The noodles & shrimp were great but again the chicken was an odd texture and I couldn’t eat it. The beef was small beef strips that were extremely salty. We had the crab rangoons which were yummy! & a side of veggie & egg fried rice - that was the best thing of the night!! Very flavorful & cooked perfectly. Overall I wouldn’t recommend dishes with the chicken or beef personally. BUT I would recommend this place for their fried rice or just the shrimp lo mein. The restaurant looked very clean and well kept when we went in to order but we got...
