Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Lima

I am the GM of another restaurant and have been in the food industry for 18 years. I normally am not the type to complain because most times I can understand from a restaurant to restaurant level, as opposed to the average public. I want to give an honest review because I know how important it is to get genuine feedback so you can fix the process from the top. Sometimes as management (no matter how vigilant you are) you can't catch all things. The pizza was not good at all. The "Fan favorite" epic garlic stuffed crust was severely undercooked and verrrry flimsy pizza. Super greasy and not edible, and in my professional opinion, I will highly suggest not to get that style crust. Stick to the original crust pizza. Let's be real, the original crust is the fan favorite if you like papa johns. I was hoping for much better pizza especially since prices are insane because of the economy we live in. Super unfortunate experience and I hope management/ownership actually reads this review and takes it seriously because I feel as though whatever cooks you had making pizza tonight needs to pay more...

I'm was a fan of PaPa Johns & I always tip my delivery drivers very well (at minimum $10 & gotta say... when I order through papa john website site and door dash driver shows up, pisses me off. Watch my delivery driver go from Cable rd (papa johns) then clear into the city going west on lathem & then toward my way in Elida. I literally live by the mall...which is less than a few minutes away from papa johns. My husband works seconds so Friday night is pizza night here for the kids & I since he takes the car to work. Whoever thought having door dash deliver was a great idea, needs fired. Im done with papa johns & will take my business elsewhere. EVERY SINGLE TIME...food is barely warm. At least when papa johns used to actually deliver, our food was steaming hot, almost like fresh out the oven....

Placed an order online for delivery, and not only until AFTER I placed the order did it let me know that it world take 119-129 minutes to deliver my food. Mind you they close in 60 minutes and are literally right across the street from me. They’re literally a two minute walk at the most, ands 15 serving drive. I’m a truck driver and can’t park where I am without getting towed, so I had to stay in my truck and couldn’t pick it up myself.
