We miss seth!!! I had just received my call from Georgia the manager of the lima and sydney location to let me know that my pre order was was ready for pick up, but this pre order call is almost a week late and he worked the day that it dropped and I did not receive a call. I've been into this location and multiple others since I walked in store and saw it on the shelf was upset that I never received a call.So I went to a different location and bought it, and that is where my service goes. Also to the tone and underlying sarcasm about my pre-order. Also, not my first issue with this manager. As multiple times before, I have tried to buy the loki cosplay, limited edition set that they had in there. It was on clearance, they had two of them in gamestop had a buy one, get to free. He would not move the one from Sydney, and I had somebody from another location. Another manager who was willing to move it from Salina to Lima, and he was just not willing to cooperate things like that, just a very difficult manager. Everybody else in the store is very great. But this...
Read moreBought a "certified pre-owned" Xbox One. The box said you had 30 days to return. The console clearly had something wrong with it, as it wouldn't load games after many attempts and lots of research on my end. I called the store to ask what certified pre-owned meant, and basically they just turn it on to "see if it works". So I tried to return the unit with the 30 days and they said I could only return it within 7 days because that's what the receipt said. Well they should probably update their boxes then because that's false advertisement. They said they could give me store credit for it, but would have to knock off a "defective fee". Which is them basically admitting that they sold me a defective unit. I paid $150 and they were going to give me $30 for it, likely so they could turn around and rip off a different person. I don't think it's this location's problem, I think it's a corporate problem. Never giving GameStop my...
Read moreI give this 2 stars. Why? Because it always stinks. Every store you go to, no matter where you are, Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Texas, Idaho, doesn't matter, GameStop has a particular smell. I'm not sure what it is, but there have been more times than I can count that I go to a GameStop looking for a game money in hand, walk in, take 2 steps in, and take 2 steps back out. The smell is almost always there. When it's not, well you got lucky. Also, they still sell games from 2010(nothing wrong with old games) and sell them for almost full price, even though they're used. The good thing about GameStop, is that they actually have games. They gave some games that most people haven't even heard of, and that's good. But please be aware of what you may be walking into. The smell is not for the...
