Super Saver At Fallbrook — Local services in Lincoln

This store is well-stocked, clean and the floor & meat department staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The only complaint I have so far is that I bought 2 Dozen day old doughnuts which are usually almost just at good as fresh. I would have bought fresh but was in a hurry and a couple people picking out their doughnuts were blocking up the whole case with there carts.They cost the same amount as fresh (over $17) where most places give a bit of a discount (even a dollar off would have been nice). When I got them home they were so dry almost as if they had been left uncovered in a fridge all night. I returned with the doughnuts & my receipt and the customer service lady couldn't have been nicer about giving my money back. This has been my go-to grocery store for years and never had any problems. I normally would park near the liquor store entrance, as it was a quick way to grab a few things. The last few times iv'e done this, the check out on that side of the store has been closed. This is annoying because I then have to walk to the other end of the store to check out, then back over to where I parked outside. The worst part is there's a gentleman sitting 10 feet away in the storage room on his computer with a sign up at the counter saying register closed. If he is being paid to be a cashier, he needs to be fired. In the mornings, that entrance is closed with a sign on the door, so I can only assume management is not aware of this. I have been a loyal customer at Super Saver for many years now. Since Fallbrook opened this is close to home for me !!

Well I stopped for a few grocery's after work on Monday and I go to the spirit's register as I always do to pay for my items. The clerk (spirits manager) waited on the two customer behind me first - so I asked him what did I do wrong ? He told me that customers with liquor sales are to be served first ! And he also added that there are not to be grocery sales through this register. So I said - there should be a sign posted (Liquor sales only) Problem solved.

Customer service is huge in this day and age - why couldn't this team member/Manager politely tell me - sorry there are no grocery sales in the Spirits area. And I would have never thought nothing of it.

Oh well life goes...
