I have always loved walking into Stroup’s since I was a little girl. When I was little, I always loved sitting on the box chair and acting like I'm elegant and buying a diamond ring. I got married in June and finally got to fulfill my dreams. My husband did not buy my engagement ring at Stroup's but he did buy the wedding band from Stroup's. We went in multiple times this year and got gifts for the wedding. I bought him a Citizen watch and it was wonderful to have everything explained to know what the best option for me to buy was. Everyone was amazing from picking out the watch, Mother’s bracelet and our wedding bands. So thankful for the support and reasonable prices.

I noticed some loops on my necklace getting very thin so I had my mom drop it off at Stroups for me. The first repair was $25 and still very thin, she took it back for a 2nd time and I was charged $75 more. The only obvious thing the did was grind a nick into one of the loops. I was fine with changing any thin pieces I just don't like paying for poor work. They were also very rude to her. We will be using a different Jewelry store going forward.

Stroup's Jewelers is more than your hometown jeweler, they are your family. Once you walk in the door, each one of their knowledgeable staff will greet you will a smile. They start your visit with "how can I help you today?" because that is their goal - to help you meet your needs.

The store contains the widest variety of jewelry in their cases ranging from every price range that fits for you. From ancient antique pieces to new modern designs, there is always something to find in their sea of treasures. You can expect the staff to utilize every one of their resources and their time to help you search until you've met the item you've been longing for - even if you don't know what that is at first.

As far as repairs and goldsmith work goes, you won't find better quality and value than by Stroup's Jewelers. They will eagerly tell you all of their work is in-house. That's because they care about the safety of your grandmother's heirloom, the speedy return of that engagement ring before your wedding, and the assurance that they can provide with their own hands.

If you don't want to take my word for it, go see for yourself that they are the best in town. I guarantee you will be impressed by their service, integrity, and quality of items. By the second or third visit, you can expect them to start calling you by name at the door - because Stroup's...

This place might be friendly and all but when it comes to trying to sell gold or jewelry, not so great. They won’t touch anything with a diamond in it as far as buying and they will buy gold but trust and believe they will not by no means give you a fair price. My aunt was trying to sell several pieces of gold whom they were the first these items were taken too. And they quoted something like just over 3k for all of it, but with a quick google search of how much the exchange rate for gold is, you realize they are trying to take you for a ride. I understand they buy cheap and sell for good prices to the public, that’s business but when you try to say you will buy something and don’t want to pay even a third of the going rate, that’s highway robbery. And thank God, it was taken somewhere else where a better sum of 14,600 it was all sold for. Don’t bother trying to sell any jewelry to this place or any other place that buys gold in Lincolnton, NC. Everything else is pretty good except they wasn’t too nice to me when I went in there one time. Guess because I was trying to get rid of a piece of jewelry and not...

So, I’ve been trying to get 2 pairs of diamond earrings out of my ears for over a year. I just got hired at a new job, and was told under no circumstances could I have the diamond earrings out on the production floor, I was devastated, I don’t want them cut off, and I want to keep this new job. I called Stroup’s, the lady that answered told me to come in the following day, but my new job hours wouldn’t allow for that. Who wants to miss hours on their 2nd day? Not me, so not a good look, she told me to come on by after work, and they’d try, no guarantees, I said I’ll there! I got there, and a young woman, Briana, greeted me, I explained my problem and that I had called earlier. She tried by hand to no avail, like me. She went and got some tools, seated me, and went to work. 30 minutes later my earrings were unstuck, and being cleaned. I was ecstatic, I didn’t want to have to cut the earrings off for a job. When I asked what I owed, Briana said ā€œNothing, it gave me experience!ā€ Cheers to Stroup’s, and Briana, BEST SMALL BUSINESS I’VE EVER BEEN TOO! FULL STOP! Again I’m ever so grateful, the earrings mean...
