Untapped Territory Craft Beer & Regional Wines — Restaurant in Lincolnton

I drove up to Lincolnton to enjoy a concert. I'm not a huge drinker, but I like a little tipple now and then, and I love meeting interesting new people. I was not disappointed at Untapped Brewery. Nope! Manager Khris Bartone is building out a great performance space, in what I believe is an effort to really connect with the community. Back in February, she backed a cancer event and even brewed a special beer and named it especially for the cause. AND donated proceeds to cancer charity. All of the beer connoisseurs around me seemed to enjoy the regular Brew on tap and I heard good things about the special beers as well. And the wine too! Now the next time I go I'll be sure to sample more of the wine as that's more my speed. And I love cooking with wine. Can't wait to pick up some to try in my spaghetti sauce. Anyhow, this is an industrial space converted to serve patrons all while brewing beer and wine. There is no food service prepared by the establishment, but food trucks are nearby and some local spots even deliver! So come here hungry or come here full just to enjoy the drinks and the entertainment. And talk about entertainment! You should check out their calendar to see who is performing. Established act as well as some amazing up and coming entertainers. Enjoy some awesome company at Untapped Brewery, great service provided by good people who are here to invest in this community and do awesome good...

Such wonderful vibes in this space; totally delighted to find this in downtown Lincolnton and with such a nice outdoor space and such sweet & accommodating owners- family owned! We are reestablishing ourselves as residents in the area after 22 years in Asheville ("Beer City"). Untapped Territory absolutely reminds us of some of our favorite venues in the mountains! We love the food truck opportunities too. We had some delicious & authentic Lebanese food with some very fresh ciders and beers. After trying multiple beers and ciders and speaking with the owner, we became aware that fresh taps and sustainability are very important to the mission of this business- very important to us as well! Everything about this venue seems to be carefully planned and implemented, from the wonderful sound system and placement for the musicians, the large yard with ample space to play, talk, and safely distance if needed; to the warm and inviting game and TV space that can be well utilized in the winter ( please add ping pong? :) Very happy to find this space in this town- it certainly helps us...

The beer selection and service was good and the inside has a nice, classic feel to it. Honestly, the only things holding me back from giving this place 5 stars are 2 things. The first and main complaint I have is they serve their beer in red solo cups. I've never been to a bar that offers good quality craft beer that also serve their beer in solo cups. I'm sorry, but unless I'm out to get wasted at a college bar, I prefer to drink out of a glass, lol. Second, this is one of the very few bars/breweries I've been to that doesn't offer flights. Not a big deal, but I enjoy flights every once in a while to get a good taste of a variety of the beer offered without having to drink...
