I was referred to Dr. Nowak by my insurance and I must say, I am extremely satisfied with my appointment. The girl at the front desk was very nice! And the wait time was only about 15 minutes, easy paperwork to fill out, and Dr. Nowak was extremely thorough in getting a proper diagnosis. Long story short I have been going through many doctors for a medical problem that everyone had a different answer for so I decided to take another approach and go see an endocrinologist. Dr. Nowak took me through step by step to make sure he had my entire medical history and lab work before coming up with proper treatment. He was very attentive, answered all of my questions and took his time. In addition to this, the lab for bloodwork is on the same floor, very convenient that everything is in one location! I've been a Type 1 diabetic going in 22 yrs now. Needless to say I've been through my share of doctors. In my experience, long wait times simply mean the doctor takes his time with his patients. I'd rather wait and be cared for properly then rush in and out and not be. I haven't had to wait longer than 5 minutes for Dr. Nowak. He is an amazing doctor who knows his stuff. I've been struggling to control my levels and was at the point of giving up. In just one visit, he was able to target the issue and get me back on track. He takes the time to explain everything and answers your questions thoroughly. The convenience of a lab in the suite next door is great. The best part however, is that he doesn't judge or talk down to you. He takes the time to understands your concerns and treats you like an individual. 5 stars...

Dr. Nowak is great, but the office support staff is less than exceptional. They cannot properly bill, when I had two insurance coverages, and expected me to cover the unnecessary medical procedures out of pocket. They also do not return phone calls, and after numerous attempts to get a medication refill, was left without it for over 2 months, as they tried to refill It with a prior insurance company, not the current.
