I would return BUT full transparency: Dislikes: from start to finish she let out exacerbated sighs which did not make me feel appreciated as a customer. To the point where approx 30mins in, she flat out said, "too much work." And I had to fight back saying if its too much for you stop right here let me pay you for what you've done, and I'm ready to leave immediately. But with dye in half my hair, and at the risk of being in the hands of someone who easily had the opportunity to ruin my hair, I kept quiet and remained patient. Advice: everyone gets frustrated when faced with challenges in their line of work. If you're not up to the challenge, it's better to opt no. Likes: though there were some verbal comments i felt could be kept to herself, I genuinely felt that she did have my hair healths best interest at heart. I walked in on a whim for a hair consultation for hair correction, repair and restoration. I was seen right away with no wait time likely because it was a Tuesday and there were hardly any customers in. She reassured me that to get to my end goal without further damage, she would work on it in small stages while doing routine restoration treatments in between. I will be going back, just going into my next experience with an overall expectation that stylist will be a bit more sensitive to customers feelings-- just because we are under those loud dryers, doesn't mean we cannot HEAR SEE or COMPREHEND your...
Read moreI've gone to Dream's hair Salon twice now and my second experience was less than stellar. The first time I went, I got my hair washed and blown out and straightened with an iron. Everything was fine when I proceeded to wash my hair a week after when it started reverting back to its natural curly kinky state. However, the second time I went was terrible. A woman washed my hair extremely rough with her finger nails and was extremely painful. She then proceeded to blow out my hair. Passing the direct heat of the blow dryer multiple times throughout my hair. She was careless, talking to another woman. Then she left and another woman worked on my hair. The lady was unorganized and very rough-handed. The woman burned my scalp multiple times leaving my skin sore and red. I washed my hair two days later. Low and behold, I was left with heat damage. My 4a hair was stringy in the front and in the back and this is where I am now. I cut my hair myself yesterday, but some straight ends still remain in my hair. I will not be going back to this hair salon. Hair stylists should care about your hair after the salon, not just about the money in...
Read moreWas recommended by a family member to try this place and have Lupe trim my hair. My appointment was for 2 pm today which I called the Saturday before to schedule this appointment. As the time gets closer to make head way to my appointment, I call the shop to make sure my appointment is still on. As I am calling the shop, I get no response. I just figured they were just on break. As I pull up to the business at my scheduled appointment time, I see that the lights are turned off and that there is no one in sight. There was also no sign to indicate that they had left for the day or even at lunch. I kept calling and even rang the doorbell and NO ANSWER. By this time I am upset, and have wasted time and GAS. I will never be returning here again. Very...
