Wish I could give them half a star if I had to give them a star at all. This is the WORST company and customer service I have ever dealt with. We order a set of sheets off Living Social 100% Cottton, 1000tc Worth 350-400$. When I received my sheets I was sent the wrong size ( King instead of Queen ) After calling for three days and getting hung up on when on hold multiple times I finally got a hold of someone who explained the reason I received King was because they were out of Queen. After explaining I order Queen because that is what I have and I cannot use the King, I was told that I would be upgraded and a return label was being sent to me. Almost TWO WEEKS LATER still nothing. So I called back ( now just so you get a feel of how calling these people is like. You have to plan on the next three days doing nothing but calling on and off all day just to sit on hold for 5-15 minutes just to end up getting hung up on ) I got a hold of another lady who informed me my request was never processed. She said she would process it and also include a free gift for my troubles and that it should take 24-48 hours to receive my return label. Three days later still nothing, So i call back and I am told that it is being processed and to call back the next day if I still haven't received it. Next day, still nothing. I call back and finally get my label and send in my sheets and wait for my UPGRADED set and free gift. I received my so called UPGRADED set yesterday and was baffled, what they sent me as an upgrade was a Cotton / Polyester blend worth 150$. How does that make sense, going from a 400$ set to a 150$ set? and no free gift. By now I am really frustrated and call back, today i finally get ahold of someone on my third call and I am told that they now have my original sheet set in stock in Queen and I should receive my return label in 24-48 hours so I can send beck my joke of an upgrade to get my original set I paid for and possibly a free gift if they remember. Wonder how long it will take this time.. my advice? Take you money and go to Costco. They have an awesome set cheaper and nicer and their customer service is much better than this joke of a place. Read moreSHREDDED, STAINED SHEETS: that's what I received from Luxor Linens. I'm an Airbnb owner, so I buy a lot of sheets. I thought I'd give Luxor Linens a try because I received a nice discount and their reviews were decent. Boy, do I regret that decision! Because I'm an Airbnb owner, I received my sheets and didn't open them immediately because they weren't needed immediately. Imagine my shock when I did and found that BOTH SETS were damaged: one set had had the labels literally cut from the sheets (it looked like someone who cut like a toddler got to the tags, subsequently shredding both the fitted and flat sheets), and the other set was soiled (a reddish/brown; either way, I don't want to know!) in multiple areas. I got in touch with customer service and they requested I send photos. They apologized after seeing the photos with the obvious damage, and sent a return label, offering to refund me or replace the sheets. I mailed the sheets back and opted to receive a refund, explaining that my trust in the company was shattered, having received two sets of damaged sheets. After a few weeks, I received notification that my sheets had been received. When I asked them for the amount of the refund I would be receiving, I didn't heard back for OVER A MONTH! When the agent finally wrote me back, she said that I wouldn't be receiving a refund because I had placed the order over a year prior. When I explained that I'm a business owner and didn't have a use for them when I received them, I heard nothing, so I asked to have new sheets send out to me to replace the disgusting ones and heard back almost immediately that that option was outside of their time frame. Lesson learned: if you want quality sheets and good customer service, look elsewhere! Aside from the flaws, the sheets were thin and not at all soft. Never again, Luxor. Terrible sheets, awful...
Read moreI followed a recommendation (with a great discount) from The Daily Beast. I ordered two beach towels with monogramming. They arrived shortly after ordering and they were beautiful! The monogramming was expertly done and the colors on the Luxor Linen website were exact representations of what I received. I was joining family and friends at a lake house and decided to buy towels with individualized monograms (not initials) for everyone. There was a mix-up in the order--partly my fault as they did not know which monograms went with which towel. Their emails to me seeking clarification went unanswered because I received many, many emails and I thought it was just more offers. My bad, totally. About three weeks later, they called me to straighten this out, and also because one of the monogram colors was unavailable. To think that they would call me was an indication of expert customer service. After that call, I received another from the company president (!!!) apologizing for the confusion. I owned my part in it, but they didn't want to have any more problems. He even offered me a discount for my next purchase! Not only is the product absolutely beautiful--everyone received theirs a the end of the trip--but the shipping was expedited and the level of customer care I received is unparalleled. I ordered more products yesterday. The product is lovely, the service cannot be beat, and they have a wide range to offer. They are the only place I will buy linens...
