There is no park at Parkview Towns as suggested by their name or as advertised on their website. There also isn't grass in many of the units including ours and I've been living here over 6 months now. We moved here from out of state and were never warned in any way that we would be living in a construction zone when we moved here. Who knows when this will be completed???? Since moving in we've lost our AC when it was 100 degrees and lost our heater in February both because the dust from construction clogged our units. The doors were missing pins and not closing, paint was missing, door stoppers are missing, doorbell doesn't work, turning on the master bathroom light used to short the entire upstairs, and sinks were leaky form o-rings not being properly installed. In short this place was slapped together as fast as possible without much care. The maintenance guy is great but there is no excuse to have to call on him this much in a brand new unit. We are constantly fighting mud in our house from the lack of grass and having kids the lack of the advertised park affects us every day. After several conversations with the local property management and their boss they offered a one-time floor cleaning and stated that the park is "just additional perks that we have to offer our residents." That "perk" is part of the buying decision and in order to "offer" something it has to actually exist. There are many other communities in the area that offer the same thing at the same price that are actually completed. I wish we would have chosen one of those instead.
In regards to your response, I did call you to chat and quoted you in my review. Did you not read the review? Also I noticed a couple of brand new generic 5 star reviews from people who had never done a review before just as you were responding to me. This could be an incredible coincidence but it seems to me like some pretty obvious foul play to get the ratings back up. Based on my experience here I don't...
Read moreCourtney at the Front desk is a doll, she’s so nice and easy to work with. I can call anytime with questions and she is happy to answer them. Andy, the maintenance supervisor is wonderful to work with and he is gladly helping me fix anything I need in my townhome. However, having it being a luxury townhome community. The luxury could be improved, I know they’ve had issues with their cleaning company and it shows. This townhome was not move in ready. There are paint inconsistencies on the walls and doors, different colors and sheens. Not painted up to the corners or around doorknobs. The carpets are very worn on the stairs and in the bedrooms, feels like you are walking on hard floors instead of carpet. Overall people experience is wonderful, the quality on my townhome is not.
Edit: the property manager, Jim, has agreed to work with me on the issues I had and I greatly appreciate it. This is becoming a better place to live. There have been issues with outside contract on carpet and cleaning that have since hired new people. I would also like to mention that I love their Pet policy, they are very pet friendly and accepted my ESA animals...
Read moreLast week, I went through the application process for renting a town home from Parkview Towns. I was really impressed with the professionalism and kindness given from Jim Pratt, the housing manager. Although he had a scheduled appointment for showing from another prospective tenant, as a walk-in, he still respectfully answered my questions and gave me a showing without turning me away. Jim was very personable with me to answer any questions, and always got back with me quickly. When I expressed an urgent need to move in quickly, Jim did everything he could to make that possible. I recommend Parkview Towns as a reliable and respectable company to rent from. From my experience, they truly care about their tenants and will do everything possible to warmly welcome new tenants and provide a comforting family atmosphere for...
